damn i agree. penthouse was at the peak that time and s3 sabotaged it imo
true, you can get away with killing one main character, but all of them? no

all of these are bad, but there's no comparison with the ultimate character assasination that was the Penthouse 3 finale. it managed to ruin a perfect three season arc spanning two years in less than two hours

you're right on him patronising her for most of the time even though he was the one who refused to take a stand. i hate when mls do that and the audience is supposed to think it's romantic. it's shitty

It's often better to look at where they are on the Popularity list rather than the high score list - especially…
is the popularity list more trustworthy? i'll try it. thanks!

common sense, finally! even if the controversy hadn't existed, why are they still producing shows where poor fl marries her rich boss in 2023? and so blatantly at that, like yeah patronize us some more
and is the obsene wealth supposed to dazzle us? it makes me feel unconfortable and furious, under every shiny thing they show there's underpaid labour and environmental destroyal. riches are used in many dramas, but at least in some they have a point. for example in the penthouse, it signifies greed and inhumanity, in the glory it's what protected perpetrators from consequences. here it is used to show us why the ml is desirable. i mean, write him a personality and you wouldn't need to make him rich.
i wouldn't be so mad if not for lee junho's GODLY charm that's been wasted on this 13-old-girl's fantasy

why can't kdramas have rules for space-time travel and follow them?? i'm with you on this one. like, i know it's fictional but i need them to sell it to me. also, from now on i will include your female empowerment score (it's already my deciding factor in rating a drama)

it's rare that actors choose to act in fewer but bettee scripted kdramas rather than take every opportunity to stay relevant. i like that she's picking meaningful projects like One Day Off and Romance is Bonus Book, dramas that stay with you long after they're finished
