song zuer and xueqin were in season 1 of the truth! I would love to see tian xiwei on the truth too! Both tian xiwei and xueqin have another mystery variety show called SHErlock 女子推理社 and they did so well, there's 2 seasons – similar to the truth, they will have a story setting and missions to solve :)

Hi long term 'The Truth' fans! Asking for chinese song recommendations that Liu Yu Ning/Dilraba/other members sang during the episodes, i really liked how the cast member would break into a song mid conversation 😂 Here are some that I remember but I'd like to know if there were more (i think they were mostly mandopop songs)

座位 zuo wei by cheng huan (*also, LYN sang this on 天赐的声音 with yao xiao tang)(during Actor case)
Jumping Machine 跳楼机 tiao lou ji by LBI (during the wall scaling part for the Actor Zombie case)

+ the perfume(s); in the unreleased clip it showed that actually both are avid perfume users and they even have a scent that they both use – it was so endearing to see that he showed a keen interest in the perfume she handmade herself and her interest in the blue bottle perfume (*no wonder he was spraying it so much before their private prize date T^T)
+ the contrast between his protective character (wants to do everything for you) and her super independent character (wants to do things herself) and meeting in the middle, her asking help from him and him reassuring he will be there to help her out
+ their birthdays in june! just two days apart :o the odds of meeting someone so similar in age and birthday is rare when its in this situation of 8 people in 1 space
+ also the contrast of her quiet nature and his chaotic playful vibes, they meet in the middle and play together well too it's always a bonus when someone can draw out this playful energy from you when you're known as a calm person

+ the first impression flowers to the final bouquet (both of their first times as sender and receiver)
+ the contrast in one being bad at words (keeps everything within) and the other who can't hide their feeling (leaves everything out in the open) and ultimately meeting in the middle and shared intimately privately, a mutual understanding :') even in the final letter...

yubin x yoonhoo
+ yoohoo's first meet anxiety paired with yubin's easygoing chatters
+ the fried rice before their date (yoonhoo's favourite dish)
+ the yogurt-ice cream session that synced them everyday regardless of date or no date
+ and of course, the love for cooking and eating, together!

the way fate worked it's magic was truly quietly yet magical 🥹

i'd like to recommend 'SHErlock 女子推理社'! its concept is inspired by korean variety show 'Girls High School Mystery Club'. Similar to The Truth, the main cast are detectives and have to solve mini mysteries to unlock the big main mystery. :) Through 'SHErlock 女子推理社' I came to love li yitong aka liu yuning's co-star in A Dream Within A Dream 书卷一梦!

i love jiling-wuyi's young love and wangyan-shiguang's old love :') really really wish for good things for them T^T for the remaining demons, i can only wish them peace... their power and sacrifice is necessary to win this difficult battle

I appreciate jiling's character growth, he has shown how over the centuries he has become much wiser whilst separating his youth in the puppet. He's no longer just a wild red fox but grew to become such a great leader despite having no real powers! From the start he has shown how protective of his people and i'm sure all of their love will come through to be of strength rather than weakness. (note: wuyi gaining back control of herself when she recalls distinct flashbacks of her silly jiling!! And i feel confident to say jiling himself also knows love will help them power through the hardships. It will not be futile attempts <3 I don't know if the director-writer has set a sad ending or not but isn't their story already so remarkable? the kind that transcends time regardless of how it will all pan out)

and I think wuyi's persistent questions 'are you jiling' - simply emphasises that she KNOWS her love and she asks it repeatedly not because she doesn't know. From my own interpretation, i felt maybe jiling was being cautious since he has a huge responsibility and upon confirming jiuying's presence, he checked over and over as well, whether wuyi truly loved him (seeing how she fought against jiuying's possession and sacrificed herself repeatedly).

even though the fox demons need to share their memories with one another, it doesn't mean that they understand nor feel how the one sharing the memory really feels. And this piqued my interest in wuyi's comments to wangyan-shiguang 'you're not a young couple anymore, why do you still act like it' and wangyan's shy (?) reaction to it shows how deep her love goes (beyond what the sisters can see just in memory visuals, they can see but cannot feel).

[trying my luck 🥹] does anyone know what the song is for ep 17 when wangyan was in the forest on day of full moon? i can't find it....

in the episode (ep 14) where wangyan goes to wuyi while wuyi was hiding in a corner – wangyan said wuyi is always hiding, if she didn't hide then everyone else will see her. Plus wuyi herself says ' sometimes i dream that my sisters cannot see me' so i don't think it was meant to be read as wuyi is invisible to others 😅 but rather just how she feels since she herself represents the new moon (unseen by others)

I feel the same for both theories! I do see it as the orange fox gaining ability to copy xizai's face but I'm also wondering if jiling becoming xizai made yuan wuhuo forced xizai to take the dragon marrow to become the 'perfect vessel' for chiwen to transfer his spirit. So the current dragon deity is chiwen + jiling (my speculation, maybe not true 😅) whereas i also feel likely chiwen is losing his powers and now the new ruler of the dragon deity power will be with shiguang instead.

BUT if the current jiling is simply jiling and the real chiwen is somewhere out there, it also makes sense why the dragon power didn't go to jiling (it was never his anyways)... idk T^T so many questions, so little explanation & clarification

i need to know what would happen to poser chiwen (jingling aka orange fox) because his face is actually copied from yuan xizai so the little fox isn't actually a 'person' :') so how can he and lu wuyi be together..... :( i get a strong sense she will sacrifice herself again to save him since ep 9 she speaks about reborn. And from youtube spoiler of ep 17, hoping shiguang and wu wangyan can mend things... the past wasn't their fault...

wait when will we see the real chiwen (long shen) T^T i have so many questions...

in the second story the mission card hinted there's a mole amongst the agents - so who was it? I don't think i manage to debunk it?
