*just my opinion*

Okay, so, how do i start this? To be honest, the 6.9 rating on dramalist seems a bit too high for this drama. No joke. It had potential despite there being many kdramas with sort of a similar plot. For the first two episodes, the drama would seem like something worth watching. However, after that, I’ve no words. If anybody requires a simple answer, I’d just tell them to not waste their precious time watching whatever this is.

First of all, the FL seems to have absolutely no emotions on her face regardless of the situation she is in. Some of you would argue that that’s the whole point. I agree, however, her face doesn’t really give off that “emotionless” vibe that actors like Han So Hee, Park Ji Hoon, etc give off. This girl just looks like she straight up doesn’t know how to act. But honestly, if you were to watch this drama, her acting would be the last of your concerns, considering the amount of flaws the drama itself has.

The only character that had some common sense was Kang Ha. At least, everything he said, his actions were justified and understandable. However, i CANNOT say the same for Jae-i. You know those kind of people that would witness a crime happening and do absolutely nothing to stop it, then go home and blabber on about how they feel sad for whatever happened? That’s the kind of person she is. If you don’t agree, it’s fine. But, honestly, I cannot find a better way to describe her.
She acted like she felt so bad for Kang Ha’s brother but still never left his side, stayed being friends with him, despite knowing the kind of mad dogs her boyfriend and his friends are.

how mean can you be, dude? Even after such a big tragedy happening, she continues being the same. Like, where’s the character development??¿ Whole time she just uses Kang Ha to forget about Ri-an, leads him on, gives him false hopes and then when the time comes, tells him that she’d do anything to protect Ri-an. What the heck is happening here, exactly? To be honest, i also do not understand why Kang-Ha stood by her side because if I were him, I would just let her go to hell or smth.

She is nothing but a self centred, selfish, idiotic freak. Like, I get that you were and are in love with Ri-an. But how blind in love can you be to not see the bazillions of flaws he has? Like be so fr. This just doesn’t sit right with me. It’s unrealistic. Even if he may not have been directly involved in Kang Ha’s brother’s death, he still contributed A LOT to his death. How could you just sit down and ask the brother of the guy that your boyfriend was indirectly involved in K###ing, to sympathise with your boyfriend? What a freak 🙄🙄 It was just a typical rich boy obsessed with rich girl plot.
Also, the teacher sleeping with Woo Jin??¿!!!! Why is she so full of herself despite knowing she’s a low life gold digging pedophile who’s also a murderous b!!!tch???? I ABSOLUTELY despised it whenever she put on that innocent face around people and acted so clueless about everything happening🙄🙄

Like be so fr. You need to be behind bars. I was already suspicious of her and Woo Jin the minute the drama started. They couldn’t have made it more obvious. She gave absolutely no flying f#ck about In Han’s death (like everybody in the drama lol🙄🙄🙄) , just pretended she did, despite being directly involved. The only person she cared about was Woo-Jin, a minor who she taught at school and was sleeping with. A MINOR. ew. are you not disgusted with yourself? And apparently, Woo Jin was in love with Hae Ra which she didn’t like. what in the actual f#ck was this drama, really? Everybody seemed to be in love with each other. Just a sh#tshow of a bunch of wh0res, i feel.

Tbh, I don’t even have anymore words to say. I’ve already said ALOT. I want everyone reading this to not watch this, ty❤️

**just my opinion**

The story, plot twists, visuals, etc were perfect, imo. TBH, Han So Hee never really disappoints. The only flaw I found in the drama was that I felt k#lling Pil Do was bit unnecessary. Like I could’ve excused it if it seemed even a bit reasonable to me but no, it didn’t. He was the only person that Ji Woo relied onto after her dad passed away. She already had faced so much misery and didn’t really need to go through more. But honestly, I’ve to admit this drama’s a bit twisted. It’ll make you feel bad for everyone simultaneously, even Moo Jin. Nonetheless, it’s great and I’d recommend people to watch it.

BORRRING

I’m gonna keep this short and straightforward.

Honestly, ik many ppl might not agree with this but as soon as I found out Eun Tae Hee was the endgame, I felt like dropping this.

I still ended up watching it and it’s more than obvious how disappointed I am.
Eun Tae Hee’s character was so bland and boring but still somehow confident which made her even more annoying.

And as a die hard fan of Woo Do Hwan, his character in this was just HORRENDOUS. This man doesn’t know what or who he even wants 🤨 He also wasn’t sincere with his friends at all. I despise how he played this character and the character itself.

Honestly, there was absolutely NO chemistry between him and Tae Hee. I don’t know what made the writers look at them and think, “Yeah, this looks good.” The drama went downhill as soon as she appeared on the screen, no offence.

He’d probably be more passionate kissing Soo Ji if, of course, he were to do that.
Initially, I was wishing they end up together but it didn’t take long to realize that he should just stick w smn like Tae Hee.

Don’t recommend ❌

maybe a comfort watch

Bride of the Century is the type of drama I would categorise as something similar to a comfort watch. It’s one of those dramas that you’d wanna watch with a hot bowl of ramen or any delicious food at your table. The storyline is not too perplexing, the characters have decent chemistry, and yeah, everything just seems easygoing. However, the only reason why I’m rating this a seven is:

• The storyline was good, something unique. A rich, arrogant and classy girl with a poor, clumsy and friendly lookalike who takes her place as Choi Gang Ju’s fiancée after she mysteriously disappears one day. It started amazing. (And honestly, I Gyeong’s style suits actress Yang Jin Sung a lot).
• Initially, as soon as the drama begun, I couldn’t help but feel bad for Jang I Gyeong since the only thing Gang Ju did was use every chance he had to humiliate her.
• I would just be sitting down on my bed, waiting for her to give him the most hurtful reply there is but she never did. I didn’t blame her, though. She had a reputation and business to protect.
— However, when she ran away, I couldn’t have been more delighted since, at the outset, I thought she ran away because she didn’t want the marriage and wanted to live her life on her own terms.

But this notion of mine was not true since her running away was related with the whole ghost mystery thing they had going on.

I SO wanted what I thought to be true.

Gang Ju and Du Rim had better chemistry since I feel all Gang Ju needed was someone to put him in his place and teach him how he’s not who he thinks he is.

I believe even if this drama was just a typical rich body and rich girl plot, him and I Gyeong could’ve been great as well if she didn’t listen to all the crap he and Ru Mi said about her and shut their mouths.

Another reason for the 7 rating:

• Du Rim couldn’t play as I Gyeong even in the slightest. Yes, that’s somewhat the point. However, she made it so obvious to the point that anybody close to I Gyeong could guess that she wasn’t her.
• Also, even if she couldn’t play as someone else, she could at least use her brain when required which she really didn’t, I feel. They made her look very dumb.
• She was WAY too clumsy to the point that it was annoying.

But yeah, she was cool when she needed to be. And that’s what got Gang Ju hooked.

Again, it’s an amazing drama for a comforting day. Especially when you don’t wanna confuse your brain too much! 🤎
