It really is a sign of your lack of competency that you repeatedly explain things to people who understand things better than you (high confidence/low competence is just an unfortunate combination. So, imma go wash the mud off and hope that you, S, L, and your other minions are one day able to get help for your various traumas. Shrimp, there's nothing you can do to make me cry. We've kinda reached the "never wrestle with a pig" point but please, help me understand what you're carrying on about this time. Please give me more information about this drama you're referring to (is it one of the 2 he did that you rated poorly?) not sure why you feel the need to be vague about it. But basically what you're admitting is that Xiao Zhan and his team are perfectly capable of handling their business without any help from you. So what I said stands. You use that word delusion a lot in a lot of your comments, but I do not think it means what you think it means. Besides, projecting much? Really, who has the delusions the fans that support his work by watching his shows and leaving the running of his personal and business life to him, or the fan who pretends she's the dauntless defender of XZ because it makes her feel important. Sad. I don't need to get into a who is the best XZ fan pissing match with you. I support his work. Period. And I trust his team to handle his business. They don't need you monkeying around with the supporting actors on MyDramaList. The worst part of all is that your behavior does more to turn potential fans off with regard to XZ. Seems like such a good fan who knows so much about his history would be careful about doing things that reflect poorly on him. But in the end, that is a testament to how talented he is that he survives in spite of having part of his fan base be so toxic. Good night for now, Xiao Xiao. 🤣
PS billing matters in the movie/show credits. That's true in Hollywood, too. But at least here there are fewer people like you getting offended on an insignificant website on behalf of people who didn't ask you to.

Can someone explain to me how the cast list on this site is created and edited? I am reading the novel and the character of Chu Tian Jiu is not a cameo. It wasn't initially listed this way. I try to stay out of the comments on this site and simply use it as a tool to keep up with my watching because there's some really toxic, petty and childish stuff I observe going on. But this... this... [deep breath] First, let me say this: 1. I'm a big fan of Xiao Zhan. 2. I do not think he needs (or probably wants) what goes on here that pretends to be in support of him and his career. I was quite frankly disgusted by the arguing going on over whether or not he's the only main character. And now, someone has managed to manipulate the cast list here... for what?? I look at a lot of cast lists on here and have never seen a main character's actor bumped to cameo. I, unlike some of XZ's fandom, do not pretend to know the man, but I greatly respect what I have seen of his talent, his work and how he chooses to present himself to the public. Based on this, I believe if he or anyone on his team saw this they would not be happy about it. XZ is nothing if not respectful of his coworkers. This race to the bottom to prove who can be the most rabid XZ fan does him more harm than good. The folks engaged in it should put down their devices, go outside, look up at the blue sky and white clouds, touch some grass and reflect on themselves.

Actually, as I watched the ending, it sure looked like they left some things open for a sequel. I'm sure Zang Hai and Xiang Antu have plenty more to get up to with the seal still in existance, a new emperor, zhuang zhixing promoted. I'm happy to watch him solve more puzzles. It's the kind of thing Xiao Zhan can leave for a while and come back to if they write a good script for it. There were many dimensions to this one, revenge was the dominant theme but not the only one.

I'll have to watch it again to see what you're talking about but more than one character experiences hearing loss so maybe connected to that. Additionally, when traumatic things are happening some senses are suppressed while others might be enhanced. Perhaps the film makers are trying to convey something through the use of silence. It's probably supposed to be unsettling. I believe art is also working if it makes you uncomfortable. Sadly, a lot of people seem to confuse art with the "choose your own adventure" genre. I prefer to treat these films and series like someone's creation put out there for me to experience. Sometimes it does give me good feelings but to constantly seek out only those sensations seems a bit like... um, you know, self pleasuring? ...trying to avoid the M word :-)
I'm sorry the responses you received became aggressive. I'm old and relatively new to C-entertainment. I watched The Untamed in March last year and was hooked. Then I started discovering the fandom... It was discouraging to say the least. I hope you're not, in fact, here to stir up trouble. But I always enjoy sincere discussion about the work.

I'm currently watching it on Netflix (US) and there are 40 episodes of about 45 min each.
