I am the only one that after the scene of ep27 (blood potion)... Now this love story feel "dirty" and…
That part of the story was triggering. Ngl. And I needed a break afterwards from this drama too. ( Today’s episode healed me quite a bit, after our stalker left the screen. Afterwards it was a wholesome episode for the most part. ) But to drop the ratings for it? Why? You can find fault with the script as a whole like some viewers, who find it boring or annoying because “always the same tropes”. But that didn’t seemed to be the case for you, or you wouldn’t have rated it a 9 until now. The actors did an excellent job with this difficult scenes. Or we wouldn’t react so heavily. (For me was Situ’s behavior afterwards adding to the massive discomfort I was feeling already.) The writing is - until now - plausible for the character development of the Situ role. Sadly in a dark, twisted and violent direction. Which can be unbearable to watch. That scene included.
After Situ left the screen the rest of episode healed me after yesterday’s trauma from too much exposure to stalker boy. How Situ violated her free will and kept pestering her … it was difficult and disgusting to watch. Today instead, seeing this motley warrior crew of underdogs (besides our MLs) going to that tea tournament, and the lovey dovey moments of our love birds brought some inner peace back. 🥰
Finally someone else who paid attention to the names of their sword and fan. 🤗Our brainy inventor did not only…
Definitely. She tries to distance herself to make it easier for him, if she dies. And he? Does in reverse the same as her. Not telling her about the given antidote to avoid, that she will feel guilty if he needs it in the future. No surprise, the heart bound spell against the netherbeasts worked. One mind, indeed, with these two lovebirds.
Other than missing another kiss, I loved everything about their interaction in ep 26 finally confronting the truth.…
Finally someone else who paid attention to the names of their sword and fan. 🤗 Our brainy inventor did not only forge a perfect weapon for him, no,, it does even protect him if he is incapable to defend himself or otherwise occupied. That’s a pure expression of love. Named “Nirvana”, because she wants a happy peaceful future for him. And “Embers”? If you look the meaning up, it’s beautiful and heartbreaking all in one.
25/26 years later ji Bosai finally figured out the obvious truth abt min xian too many hints i kept thinking no…
Situ had the advantage to witness a signature move by her as a warrior while she was fighting the netherbeast. And since he himself lives under a fake ID that possibility is more present for him.
JBZ was so shameless 🤣, before it was MY who tries to seduce him and now it's his turn, table has reverse,…
Him shamelessly flirting with his wife had me grinning the whole time. But also his more serious side in between had me “awwww”. His deep understanding and the resulting patience, that being her true self and being honest about her own feelings is difficult for her. After all, she was forced to led a double life the whole time. Under harsh conditions.
Everything he touches becomes gold. For example: The drama you are watching right now, LITC, is a small budget…
Thank you for this additional insight. I asked a similar question some time ago (I believe it was another drama), but got no reply there. That book fans thing is sometimes mentioned, when the popularity of a drama is discussed. And it always confused me a bit. If one is used to sales numbers related to fandoms, signed in book fans comes slightly out of the left field. At least for me.
is Ming Xian in her prime stronger than Ji Bo Zai? spoiler please!!
Their power level would have been equally. But when you watch their dynamic while dealing with the villains and the various threats, she seems to be the slightly smarter and more strategic fighter of these 2. She started at 13 in the tournament. She was obviously a prodigy.

On Viki I found it under WOF, but with that typical obscure “Coming soon”. 🙄
It really is linked to “The Dragon Chant”.
Didn’t pop up under WOF before on IQiyi.

But what I really want to ask: what or who are these 83 book fans? Where comes that number from?
