Question to ep 7:
He started the day as Sun, but later in the day they call and treat him as Solar.
Huh? When did he switch?

The teachers are young, not even ten years older than her I think.
Do I think that they have chemistry? H’ yes. They’re fire together. 😁
So I get, where you’re coming from.
But while I love my romance usually just fine, here I hope, they keep it on the level of “maybe”, “could be (in the future)”.
Her maturity level is clearly that of a high schooler. I didn’t detect an “old soul” in her. LOL
He might have some immature and childish tendencies, but in his interactions you still see the maturity of an adult.
That’s my main reason, I don’t ship them at the moment. And it doesn’t look like a drama with a time skip.

She is an 18 year old high schooler. He is at least mid 20 starting a new job position.
Different stages in life. At this point such things matter additionally to the age difference.

I am only on ep 3, but I need to say 2 things.
Furukawa as a nosy god is a vibe with his helper. 😎
And Rin is my MVP. And I have a little crush on her character.

I think I’m the only one a little disappointed in the ending. It was a bit blah for me!! LOVED the nc scene…
You are not alone.
I love the series, but the last episode left me disappointed.
The only highlights were their talk about future goals, the sketchbook, the NC scene and the finale.
The rest got too syrupy for my taste.
Pae’s line at the festival “The pond is turning into syrup now” I was like “yeah. Would be an apt title for the episode.” 😅

I love a witty critique about a bad show.
I got the giggles nearly the whole time 😆

Do I agree with your opinion? Not necessarily.
Did I still enjoy to read your thoughts? 100%. Love your style.
And I get, where you are coming from. Even if my opinion differs.
But I definitely had a crush on their friendship too.

Thanks! 😄The last episode is obviously for fans. And like I said in my review, it was intended to be fluff for…
Yeah. They clearly wanted to go full circle.
Which can work beautifully when executed with care.
I was with the 10/10 team too, until I ran into the overly syrupy mess of ep 12 😅.
I still love the show, but will approach the last episode with caution from now on. 😁

Love your detailed review.
I agree with most of it.
For me the show dropped the ball in the last episode.
Qin’s childification (no idea, if that is even a word) in the first 15 min were too much. The whole trip felt too much like a syrupy filler. Except their talk about their future goals and the NC scene.
And while I loved their friend groups, the meet up of them all with the revelations felt anticlimactic and left questions on multiple levels.

Love, how they use the girls characters in this show.
Fangirling and crushing? Yes. But retreating and being supportive the moment, they realize, the guy is taken.

There is no point in anyone ever writing, producing or acting in another series again, because nothing is going…
As s/o, who has parents similar to Qin’s, supportive and loving, but still missing important points, that scene felt all too real.
And I loved, that they showed a positive development in their relationship, even if in reality it isn’t as easy most of the time.

There were two different songs, the first had the lyrics"If you look up at the sky one day" and "Happiness…
I don’t know any of these songs.
My impression while watching was, that Qin changed the last line of the song intentionally, as a declaration towards Duang.

So, this was Ep 11Duang sees Qin's neck : 🥵🥵😛😛😘😘Qin sees Duang's lips and arms: 😘😘🥵Qin…
While I nodded along with most of your thoughts in agreement here, one part rubbed me the wrong way:
“Duang's parents: his father is that serious part of Duang we get to see every few episodes”, “Duang's mother is everything else.”
Flipping it would imply, his mother is the “unserious” one. Why?
Bc she’s affectionate in a loud and bubbly manner like her son?

If s/o tries to hurt her loved ones, she would be in defense mode at the throat of the culprit and caring for the hurt one exactly like Duang during/after the basketball game.
Copy+paste
Did you miss the kitchen talk between Qin and Duang’s mom? That showed, that under her bubbliness she is a perceptive and supportive mother, who only interferes, if necessary.
All traits, displayed by how Duang treats Qin.
Copy+paste.
He really is a young man version of his mom.
And both chose partners, who compliment their bubbly personalities with quieter ones.
