I thought Mia and Osono's reforming the culture helped lift their banish. I don't really know. One ending scene did show Osono giving them both her arms though, so maybe they did became full vampires via Osono's blood?? I still oiked the show even if the ending seems inclear to me :-)

Just finished ep 25. I cried a lot in the ending part when JYL's mother told her past and asked the Chief to allow her to make JYL one last meal as his mother before dying by her self-poisoning while in custody. Very sad and regretful.
