So in the end, the villains stay cartoonishly bad and Chiung even turns into a cartoon villain himself. Seyun gets hurt again just so Taeju can redeem himself by saving her. The full car video of Taeju turns out to be as cliche as expected. The police got everything handed to them (literally because Noh Manhui sent all the evidence) and barely figured out anything themselves. I honestly still have no idea what role Dr. Cha (Myeonghui) had in all this mess. Tell me what the hiking scene at the beginning of the drama had to do with anything except show the only hobby they shared together. π«
I was really anticipating this drama but it turned out to be a waste of time for the viewers and actors who had to deal with such poor writing. I wonder what Namgoong Min was thinking as he was filming this drama - any regrets? lol
Isn't it obvious that Kang Taeju was in surgery when his daughter was hurt?? I understand Seyun being panicked but to not realize all this time that's why he couldn't pick up the phone is PMO so bad lol. He's a doctor, so obviously he'd be busy...
ALSO Taeju being convinced by his father-in-law to not tell Seyun just because it would hurt her... seriously? She's an adult and can handle the truth. This drama is not making any sense.
If anything it'll be meh because of the Korean writing/cliches. None of the recent k-romcoms have been any good while j-doramas at least have decent slice of life writing.
Omg everyone in this drama is annoying me so much, especially the cops. I thought it would get better since I'm on ep 7, but it has gotten even worse! If not for Namgoong Min, I'd give up.
This drama felt really promising at the beginning, but in the last half, it was dragging.
When they revealed the killer, that's when I felt it got really slow. The audience ends up watching the characters realize things that have already been revealed.
If they didn't bring back Song Geonhee, it probably would've felt even slower for me. π
