When you saw the trio back together at the end of ep 38 you didn't realized how much you missed seeing them as a team. The way the story took them apart to deal with their own problems and then finally brought them back together made you grew more fond of their camaraderie. It's like that expression, 'absence makes the heart grow fonder'. You really appreciated seeing them back together when they were apart for some time.
It's also smart writing that they had each of them paired up at different times and had those heart to heart conversations which connects you to these characters even more. With these scenes taking place during the middle of the drama where most people complain it gets draggy, it instead draws you in more to how their friendship is deepening but also keep it moving towards the end.

I like the character cause from beginning to end she actually contributed to how things unfolded and did things her way without compromises, so even though it was detestable I could appreciate that go-getter attitude.

Now that you said it, yes, her voice is nice.

JLQ is the female MVP of this show. 🏆 Never thought I would like a delusional, cray-cray, determined to marry the guy of her dreams type of character but she makes it likeable. 🙃🤪

While waiting on the last 6 eps.... this drama was definitely worth a wait. Even though most of us already anticipate CY to deliver as usual, but it's always a surprise at how good he is in his roles. His interpretation and adding his own unique touches to each character is what brings it to life and with it the emotional attachment we get from these characters.

So even though most of these genres are repeat and recycled, but when you have good actors, scriptwriters, editing, and cinematographer are come together and everything clicks, you get these memorable and enjoyable dramas that linger with you until the next good one comes along.

Ep 34: the scene where LLH was thinking of his shifu and the wine bottle, from remorse and sadness to lethal eyes that could kill. Can we applaud the editing team for these type of scenes! 👏👏 And his drunken wine sword dance ⭐⭐⭐

Ugh, these are the moments in this drama that catches your attention and you have to stop and comment on it. 😄
