The production team may think since the watchers are female, the watchers will projecting oneself as the FL, thus would hate it if the ML likes the SFL. It's different case for SML. They may think, got two good-looking guy would be better than just one.

You can see it everywhere. Most dramas' SML are green flag who is more better that ML mostly, so people would pity him if FL doesn't pick him. But that's not the case for SFL. Most SFL in the drama land are either cunning, two-faced, or really downgrade bad below FL. Well, what can we expect from this misogynistic world? Hmm... 🤡🤡

Empress Dowager has two sons, the Emperor and Prince Fu. The Emperor has a son which is Crown Prince (he was called 5th brother by ML since he was born fifth among the royal lineage). While Prince Fu has a son which is Chen Yan (Xiao Yu) and he was born seventh among royal lineage, that's why CP called him 7th brother.

This is for sure one of the most entertaining c-drama as long as I can remember. The characters, the chemistry, the plot, are all intriguing! Usually unless it's a historical c-drama, I somehow always lost interest in the middle, but not for this one.
