Totally agree - They just needed him to find the letters to move the story plot - But to be honest Prince’s reaction to take the letters to the senior in such an emotional way didn’t make sense to me. I think I would have asked the maids first if they ever saw her or helped her send letters, then the worker at her shop, then maybe encounter the senior. - and not such a dramatic way so immediately… but I guess then that would have taken so much time but this progression made me scratch my head tbh

Yes I agree. It didn’t really make sense that Prince Ding would immediately write a divorce letter, while Ye Li just watching him. Even if she wanted to pay a debt — he knows that they had shared love. if it was him as I understand him he would be angry but still try to talk it out.. They should have had a convo, and both recognize that ( and make the audience also recognize that) they need time away from each other
1. Although she does love him, I think Ye Li couldn’t deny that a part of her, in some moments, the debt she had to pay back for prince ding’s family weighed more than her love - the weight of the responsibility left by her mother and her family must have been crushing. And she could not deny that was one of the big reasons she had to help Prince Ding. 2. Prince Ding is also a very fragile person when it comes to relationships - remember how it took so long for him to open up to her? He pushed her out before she could hurt him.
Yes it is all understandable, but I wish that it wasn’t told so dryly — that they never had a real fight or conversation before she left, that he had to go to the senior to confirm everything. I don’t feel any growth of character or relationship with this conflict.
when she realizes there is no master but it was her who did all the martial arts… i want her to fully embrace her fighting abilities and fight bad guys w prince ding
I’m waiting for Ye Li to kill more people 👉👈 can she please fight more bad guys i want to see her badass side. Like how she planned setting fire to the bad guy. That was so good
i feel like this is the first drama i feel good watching it as it airs - maybe because of the slice of life theme? Usually i either get super impatient to watch the next or I get bored and lose the momentum of the plot while waiting. - This one just makes you feel good watching it
