I appreciate that the couple don't exist in the bubble as a couple. A friend knows. Their families know. And they engage in (not OTT) PDA.

I appreciate Minato's conversation and confession with Grandpa at the end. It accepted some realities while remaining positive. It was well done imo.

The biggest problem to me is that she was allowed to do what she did. It's absolutely mind boggling to me. She should have been stopped. It's a poor use of a plot device to get her to learn a lesson/grow.

It's been a while since I've seen a ML dig a hole this deep for themselves.

He's well above average imo. He emotes well. Makes good use of his eyes. Has good timing. Gives a lot with a little. If I were to give a criticism, he has a little more work to do when he's in aggressive/fight mode, but that's nitpicking.

The way they all became friends was a bit unique. It was also refreshing how they really didn't care that Hioki and Watari got together, and if anything, were quite supportive.

1. Kan Hideyoshi was quite handsome this ep in his cosplay.
2. I think my favourite thing about this drama is the friend group. They're so supportive. Espc the Four Kings. For such a new group, they fell like long time buddies.
3. Having so many friends and others around, the couple isn't in a bubble. That's awesome to see.

I'm wondering how that is even possible at this point. Fan Xiao broke Shu Lang. I really have no clue how they'd show "growth." I really had hoped that they would have sorted out their stuff to get back together by now, to be stronger to deal with Fan Xiao's many issues. His emotional instability, childhood trauma, toxic family etc. But this feels impossible at this point. To break your love interest to this degree and expect that everything will be ok. Yeah...

Fan Xiao is a scumbag.

He's more than dependable enough when needed though. He's educated enough, fit enough, filial/loyal enough to get the job done. Gu Ping Yuan's lucky to have a bro like him.

I got to give it to today's ep for showing Fan Xiao conflicting emotions. Yun Qi did a good job. If we didn't have that scene, of him walking to the door, the framing of what's to come would be lost.

Even PDA moments like holding hands and kissing packs a wallop! you have to remind yourself that they're not in Hua. But...they're now in Hua, so it will be interesting to see if that continues. Even if it doesn't, I appreciate that we were provided context and that when they're in private, or as private that his royal horniness, Fan Xiao, would allow, we still get that intimacy. One of the reason why I loved Revenged Love so much.
