I was thinking if he remembers his first life, why is he so obsessed with helping this prince again? Why isn't he supporting the crown prince? This prince showed himself to be an unreliable ally, but if he doesn't remember, it would feel unfair that SM had someone to guide him to make the right decisions and not repeat the same mistakes as in his first life, but he didn't. That is one reason I really believe that JY remembers his first life. As for his motivations, I really hope they will do something more interesting than what seems to have happened in the novel.

I do hope they will make him more interesting in the drama, as this kind of guy in the novel is so overdone and cliché. The father's punishment in the drama was disappointing 😒

They always mess up the promos, and it is never what we see. So, like you, I hope they will not render his character a badly written villain. I don't know why lately villains are mostly the same, with the same motivation. Give me a gray character who will make me think twice about who I support in the story, some polarising villain or don'tmake him a villian at all. From what I read in spoilers about him in the novel, he seems like a boring character to me 😐

I don't understand why he is supporting this prince in particular (maybe he isn't, and this time he actually wants him not to succeed; who knows. I don't 😅). If what he said to FL is true, then he really wants to stabilize the kingdom and make it better, by any means 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️ maybe he is this type of person "When the goal is all that matters, the means become irrelevant, sacrificed on the altar of necessity."

In Journey to Love: Express Rpute to Hell, I was expecting a massacre but it was even worse, it felt like a hitman's checklist. The writer seemed determined to kill everyone off without exception 😐

In the fictional world, his poison was dormant during the deed as he was happy, so he did not pass it to the baby 🤣🤣🤣🤣

They are all in danger. I think the only character with a bit more protection from demise is the remaining bodyguard of SM, as his brother already died, so they cannot kill him, too. (cdrama: hold my beer)

I thought it was confirmed that he was the strategist in that life, and that is why SM knew him, as they worked together with the prince. Maybe I remember wrong 🤔🫣 As for him being good or evil, if he is a gray character, he is neither… he was plotting toward whatever his goals were from the moment he appeared in front of FL and read those comets, celestial signs, or whatever that was

The same goes for young Wu, the best thing to ever happen to him was losing his position and leaving the capital. The closer you are to the emperor and the Palace, the worse your destiny if you are a secondary character 😅

Shhh, it's better for him to be off-screen for the last episodes. Who knows when the cdrama massacre of secondary characters might start? 😅

It seems to me that he must have memories of his first life, but i can't understand what his ultimate goal is, who he really wants on the throne. Because he already knows how it went when the other prince rebelled, I just wish they will not transform him into a one-dimensional villain obsessed with the FL. I don't mind him being a morally ambiguous character who is doing whatever he thinks should be done to bring peace to the kingdom. I don't really know; it can go either way with him. I think he embodies a blend of the novel's character and a new persona created for the drama. But i actually don't know what his character is in the novel 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I read that it has a happy ending for the leads, with kids, etc. But who knows? Look at that nonsensical ending The Double had. Hope this director will not be like the others and will start a new trend of good endings that makes you feel satisfied

Me too. I really hated her ending, and then her husband died happy in his hallucination instead of living his life in misery and doing something to honor her memory, at least. She died for nothing... 😕

FL decided to move her business elsewhere after she made a lot of money because, now that the pirates are gone, everyone would come there to do business, and there would be more taxes. She had to return to her family home for some time. She met her half-sister, who is nice in this life as she wasn't raised by her mother(FL's stepmother). Her uncle wants her and her halfsister to meet some eligible bachelors. She catches the eye of the young Wu (whom her stepmother wants for her sister). She goes to the festival with a mask as everybody wears the mask and she meets the ML with a mask during a play (i think this either happens at the end of the ep or at ep 4). And that is i think all that happens
