The best way to deal with people like that is to ignore them. They thrive on attention, just like a toddler who acts out because they know it will get them a reaction 🤷🏼‍♀️

She may be pretty to some and not so pretty to others, but to call someone ugly in such a way reveals more about the commenter's character than the actress's looks. I don't understand why some people think they can be so crude just because they are hidden by the anonymity of the internet. We don't all like the same things or find the same people attractive, but there is a way to speak, and I'm sure the commenter doesn't talk in the same way to people face-to-face. And wouldn't like it if somebody on the street commented on their looks in the same way. We should treat people in the same way we want to be treated.

I know the actress from some dramas where she had a supporting role. I never thought anything in particular about her, but I did like her as the empress in _A Journey to Love_. Normally, even if I don't like a particular actress, if a drama has a good story, I will still try to watch it. A lot of actors and actresses seem bad, but they are not; they are acting according to the director's instructions, not their actual abilities. Also, a lot of people confuse a role with the actor/actress's ability. As well, how can they comment on something that is still not on air? 🤔

Same as you, I'd rather have great chemistry that makes you imagine what could happen behind closed doors than bad kissing scenes. I guess they didn't put the romance tag because they never intended to have any kissing scenes and didn't want backlash if they relied on romance in the promos and then didn't deliver any kisses. I think they did everything well because I've been tricked many times by dramas that were completely opposite from what the posters, promos, trailers, and tags told me. Of course, I would have preferred one kiss from this couple because they would be great at it, but it seems that either the actors or their contract didn't include or want kissing. So, in the end, it's still great regardless

And for a drama that doesn't have a romance tag, it has a better romance than a lot of romantic comedies out there! And much better chemistry.

She needed some time for herself, and herself alone. She knows as well that he is not the kind of man who will shackle her down, that's why she is back. She wants to be free but with all the people she loves around her. By the way, this is one of the rare shows where I could see a FL just jump on the guy she likes. I guess that is all left to the imagination 🤣🤣🤣

He is the typical b*stard minister from Joseon who speaks in a way that is especially annoying to people from the present day. 😆

I feel the same way as you. Still, the FIL was so annoying, and his way of talking down to people was like nails on a chalkboard for my nerves. I wanted to go into the drama and punch him. 😅 The time jump was also such a boring trope that I almost don't remember any K-drama without it. I understand that she needed time for herself, but it wasn't written that well and felt like a forced, added trope.

I had already prepared myself mentally for a show without it, so it wasn't a surprise. But they had such great chemistry that, in the end, I couldn't help but have some wishful thinking. As well we could all imagine what happened next so it is fine 🤣

The actress demonstrated versatility in both comedic and dramatic scenes, making her perfect for this role. The chemistry between her and the male lead was palpable, so much so that I wanted more romantic moments and at least one kiss. Despite this, the overall quality of the show was great. Notably, the absence of an annoying second lead, the presence of engaging supporting characters, the portrayal of meaningful relationships between characters, and the effective depiction of a detestable antagonist made this show so much better than I thought it would be. I didn't like the time jump, but it was expected; they never fail to add it. As well, the ending could have been better with a few more minutes added. Also, some of the antagonists didn't get punished enough, but I guess what they got was worse than death for them: poverty, no power, etc. However, my punishment would have been more violent 😅

I would've definitely enjoyed it more if it wasn't a drama I was waiting to air, that's for sure. 😆 By the way, I put SSS on hold for a similar reason like you after a few episodes and I never started it again

Several plotlines in the series were occasionally resolved abruptly through narration rather than visual depiction. It is possible that any remaining unresolved issues will be addressed in a similar way. Just hope they will give us at least one last battle or something not palace related for the finale

Even though we're disappointed, it's still the best drama to watch right now, in my opinion. Despite all the things we don't like, it's still good enough to watch. We're mostly disappointed because the drama was promoted to be something that it's not and episode by episode is less and less of what it was suppose to be

As everything was around the ML in the first place, I guess he will suddenly open his eyes and become an amazing emperor. He will get rid of all his enemies, and the FL will leave to be free. Meanwhile, they are both sacrificing their undying love for the greater good, for their nation and the people. All this in the last 30 seconds of the last episode

When you think they can't make it any worse, they still surprise us 😆. You know at this point that all the supporting cast appear with no logic just to justify something from the main plot, like in this case for the FL to be arrested and the ML to save her by marrying the PM's daughter and blah blah blah. Somebody in this comment section wrote that it is a screenwriter's fanfiction, and it is

Maybe they wanted to portray the stark contrast between the life-altering events for an individual and their insignificance to an emperor who killed so many in his pursuit of power that he can't even remember who they were. The emperor's monologue about how only he can judge or punish himself was supposed to underline how omnipotent he feels. However, the execution fell short, failing to effectively convey this theme. Additionally, as a drama, audiences expect significant plot points to reach a climactic moment and resolution, yet this expectation was never met

I thought that maybe she wouldn't seek revenge in the way she had always imagined, and that it would perhaps be more about the nature of truth, illustrating that it is seldom purely black or white, and that there is often more beneath the surface (there was nothing). Or perhaps an examination of how the pursuit of revenge might inadvertently harm innocent people, delving into the profound implications of hatred. However, what we received was... nothing? 🥲
