At some point during part 2 i got so annoyed with the melodrama and starcrossed lovers trope that i wished they would move on from one another and find somebody else 😆

That's even worse explanation for me. Than i prefer double amnesia to him having fragmented mind due to the beating 😅 who knows how much worse will become with age, if after 15 years he is still having consequences from the beating it is not a good thing

Part 1 of this drama is my favourite. Other dramas i liked are Meet Yourself and Journey to Love.

I'm not sure what to say about Part 2. I wish it was as good as the first part. It's great that not only the main leads but also some supporting characters had satisfying conclusions (regardless of the terribly written amnesia tropes and that unnecessary time jump). However, for me, it felt overdone; the melodrama became just too much, with too many plotlines added just for drama's sake. It might have been better if Part 2 had fewer episodes, allowing for tighter writing. Despite this, the entire cast delivered exceptional performances, and the characters, setting, and soundtrack were all fantastic. I loved all these aspects. I just wish the plot in Part 2 had been stronger. It is what it is, though. I'll definitely rewatch it someday and it will be added to the list of dramas i love the most

Finally binge watching this show, but I'm quite disappointed in this part 2. I should have known the writing will go down because he fell for her too soon. They should have kept it slow burn romance instead of inventing new things over and over again just to keep them apart. I'm at ep 4 of the second part and at this point we are just missing an amnesia plot to find some more reason for them not to be together. I feel it would have been much better if they lived their lives as friends until they realised they are in love, instead of doing this, whatever it is. The characters, their journey, the story, everything is amazing but i really cant stand this starcrossed lovers trope anymore, it is just getting over the top and over dramatic 😅 still I'm so happy to watch the show and i still rate the first part as 10/10, second part is not that strong (for now)

True, and there were so many spoilers on internet but we still didnt want to accept it 😔

Some people think it is imagination and some that it is real. For me it would be weird she was hallucinating about the main couple having kids etc they were not really her friends etc. So i guess it is real, still they could have done it better or just left them dead at this point, not sure.

I cried the most for sunlang and i thought i would cry the most for shisan. I think sunglang death was the most emotional. Loved the show and the characters, all of them and that is the most amazing thing for me, as normally it is so difficult to find so many likable characters in one show

Me too, if i dont find anything I'll just rewatch some old show. Hopefully something new and amazing will come out soon

The last 6 episodes were too plot packed, it was something that needed so much more episodes to be properly narrated

Main couple, they survived off screen (dont know how) and seemed to have lived peaceful life and they are now ready to be reunited with those few people/friends who survived the invasion

Vague endings and endings that dont make sense at all are the worst. Or the ones they do to pass censorship if they use rebirth, time travel etc.... so at the end this one wasnt the worst 🥲 after you come to terms with itand it takes time 😭

Definitely worth rewatching but yes would be difficult to rewatch all the terrible things that happened in the last 6 episodes

I feel as well they wanted to kill the leads too but than changed their mind as those few seconds at the end felt too disconnected from the rest. Not that I'm complaining as afer the massacre i would accept anything to know somebody is still alive

I tried The Last Immortal but didn't seem good enough, maybe i try again. I'm watching Derailment but can't say i like it or dislike it. As for the easy brainless one i was watching kdrama My Demon but after A Journey to you i feel it is too light and can'tget into it. 😅 need time to recover mentally 🤣

I loved the drama overall despite the ending that might seem cruel, but it is not the worst. At least everybody who died manage in part to fullfill what they wanted and they left a better world behind. They didnt die for nothing. I too watch dramas and want happy endings because life is cruel and dont need extra sadness in fiction. Still it was a good drama with amazing characters. There was that scene with butterflies when Ning was getting married that gave me some kind of solace, like an indication that there was some kind of afterlife and that they were at peace. That said i feel the same as you for the ending

For me it is. Regardless of the ending, it is all about the journey
