I must admit, the most emotional scene was XW's reunion with his uncle and cousin at the border. In contrast, the scene where the female lead was running to him, thinking he was dead, didn't stir much emotion in me ๐คซ
XW! TTJ was so pitiful, still feel bad for him ๐
Yes, in the drama, he was indeed a pitiful. I think if he had a female lead like the one from 'Kunning Palace,' who was a more complex character with shades of grey, he would have been happier. Susu was too black-and-white in her approach. In 'Kunning Palace,' the female lead gave some trust to XW despite her fear of him due to the memories of her first life. Susu, however, never managed to do that. My issue with the show is that it failed to adequately convey the extent of Susu's trauma caused by TTJ's actions in the future. As a result, I only felt bad for him and not for her. This issue isn't with the character herself I feel the show didnโt effectively convey her point of view, only his
That was a totally unnecessary and ridiculous wasted death. I canโt even feel sad bc that was just so dumb.
It would have made more sense if she had shielded the FL with her body or something similar. What she did just didn't make any sense. Even though they tried to explain that she acted out of fear of no longer being useful to the FL, it didn't translate well on screen. It was such a wasted opportunity. If they really wanted to make us cry, they failed; instead, the scene just made us angry because of how stupid it was.
I liked the concept of the show in the first 2 episodes and than with that love spell/not love spell thing everything fell apart. I'm barely hanging on at ep 10. Both ML and 2ML fell in love with her literally out of nowhere, past life or no past life just didn't feel genuine. As for her caring for any of them made a bit more sense because of her loneliness and need of connection. The most interesting female character was the little girl in the past who was there for like 2 minutes. The supernatural element that looked so interesting at the beginning was absent for most of the show. I'm just make myself finish it as i think the worst episodes were from 3 to 9 probably. I feel if i manage to watch those i can even finish the rest. Feel bad to rate it as maybe it wasnt just my cup of tea so i wont rate it at all ๐
How's the romance? Any love triangles? Happy ending?
Slow burn romance, she loved somebody else before, the triangle was ok as the main couple wasnt really ready to be together so, at least IMHO it didnt bother me too much (normally i hate triangles). I liked the 2ML, but they were not right for each other at that moment
I only watched few episodes and at the beginning i found it cute and funny, but something doesn't really click.…
That I wrote: the villian is written better than the ML? What does that have to do with what you wrote, and I quote: "a villain is still a villain regardless of if y'all think he's hot or not". ๐คท๐ผโโ๏ธ๐คท๐ผโโ๏ธ๐คท๐ผโโ๏ธ๐คท๐ผโโ๏ธ still don't get it.
I'll be starting this when it's finished airing. How is it so far? How's the romance? Any love triangles?
I only watched few episodes and at the beginning i found it cute and funny, but something doesn't really click. I wished they would leave FL with her unique and different style intead of trying to make her similiar to Bong-soon. As well the ML is so two dimensional, he feels like the female love interest in a shonen anime, you know those poorly written characters whose only role is to be the love interest. If you watch it as a fun drama without any expectations you might enjoy it. The romance is a bit bland and not written well. Ps. Even the villian is more interesting than a ML ๐ฅฒ bottom line the drama can be cute and funny, the romance is childish but i guess it goes with this kind of drama ๐ค anyways i put it on hold after few episodes and will continue (maybe) to watch it in the future. Pss. No love triangles if you dont calculate the villian as 2ML (as he is not, even if he has some interest in FL), so no, just FL and ML
