I'm not a fan of Saifah anyway so the actor is never going to be a motivating factor for me to watch a drama. I think I'll skip this one. Thanks for the review.

I did forget to mention the Cdrama "The Brightest Star in the Sky." I've watched it all the way through once and then skimmed through to my favorite parts multiple times.

Honey's a very cute movie. I enjoyed it a lot although it is quite a bit different from the manga.

I personally love rewatching favorite dramas.

Right now, Fighter x Tutor's story from Why RU? has my highest rate of rewatch since I'm rewatching parts of their story almost every day. I don't watch BL usually, but make an exception for this one couple.

And I am in the middle of rewatching the Thai lakorn Let's Fight Ghost, which is brilliant. I finished it and immediately started it again.

Season 2 is already better.

She just had a different pacing for how she does relationships. I liked the FL a lot, actually, from what I can remember because it's been a while. I've seen a lot of other dramas since this one and while it was very cute, I'm pretty sure it's not one I'll ever revisit.

Multifandom. I love Jdramas, but am growing to love Thai dramas and have also dipped my toe into the waters of Kdramas. Jdramas will always be my favorite though. I avoid spoilers like the plague and tend to dislike social media, love older dramas more than newer ones most of the time, and I've been watching Jdramas since 2012, so yeah, multifandom is the only one that fits. With maybe a smidge of "true blood fans" since it almost feels like I've been watching Kamenashi Kazuya and Yamashita Tomohisa since the beginning. At least, since the very beginning of my entry into Jdramas.

Everything you've said is probably accurate. But this particular show is about aromantics and for them at least it seems that having loving, non romantic relationships is common. So in the context of this drama the lead characters do understand and feel love, just not of the romantic variety. The most important person in my life is an aromantic and no one loves more deeply than her. Romantically no, but in every other respect, yes. That's why I chose to watch this drama, to give me a better understanding of aromantics in particular because of my personal relationship.

Yeah, there's better ones out there. This one missed the mark for me too, by about a mile.

Love often has nothing to do with romantic feelings. I love my cat, my parents, a few select friends, Japanese dramas, ramen, homemade enchiladas, and listening to the wind blow through the trees, etc. I'm even starting to love green tea. I think love also equates to taking enjoyment in certain things, like Takahashi makes homemade udon. He clearly loves doing it, just like he loves vegetables, and just like Sakuko loves that Jpop girl band. We don't want to give the impression that aroaces feel nothing related to affection or enjoyment.

I'm just gonna say, if you can make it to episode 5, then it seems like it might start improving. Until then, yeah, I've got some serious issues. That female ghost, wow, she's got some issues. I mean, why? What is up with the idea that a virgin ghost has to have sex before she can, what, reincarnate? That's absurd! At least in "Let's Fight, Ghost" all Jeen had to do was get her memory back, possessing an UNWILLING human for sex wasn't a part of the equation!

I don't watch anime, so I'm happy there's a live action. :)

I think it might be more true to say that "romance" isn't everything. Because clearly aroaces feel love, it's just that they're not wired for romance. The aroace in my life loves very deeply, but not romantically. 😊

He's an excellent actor regardless, but I do agree that he's giving a superior performance here.

Dull and colorless. They have no chemistry, imo.
