Sadly I ended up dropping it (although I was enjoying it very much) because I caught on to the fact they were going to kill one of the best characters in the series 🥺 Otherwise it was a fun watch, the humor of the side characters helped carry the show

I’m dropping this, but not because I’m not enjoying it (honestly the characters feel so real it’s ridiculous) but because my Spidey senses were tingling. The foreshadowing of Wei Liang’s death in Ep 18 sent me on a deep dive for verification and, sadly, I was right. I’m so tired of these dramas making you fall in love with a character only to kill them off unnecessarily!

Dropped it early, sounds like it was the right call. Picked up “Prisoner of Beauty” instead!

Just saw him in Royal Rumors. He looks so much younger than in POJ, but that makes sense due to his age

There’s is no way he only has two acting credits. His comedic timing is too good!

It seems a lot of viewers are unaware of the actual history of the characters in the story. Even if you don’t know going in, it takes two seconds to google it. This was one of my first K-Dramas, and one of the reasons I kept coming back to them. Beautifully written, acted, and filmed!

I’ve started downvoting those posts. If they don’t get positive reinforcement maybe they’ll stop. I’m also over these snooty viewers who think they’ve seen it all when it’s just getting started 😑

What’s old is reviews two episodes in. Maybe watch it through to the end at least before spouting off 🙄

I just about fell off the couch, had serious Hotel Del Luna flashbacks. Literally said WTF out loud 😅 Looks like there might be another season since it’s still in my “continue watching” list!

I don’t always agree with reviews, but they’re absolutely correct on this one. Unique plot, great pacing, top-notch acting, and edge-of-your-seat action. It never gives you a moment to breathe, which helps the audience empathize with the actors. The twists are interesting s as well, because as soon as you think you’ve figured it out, they prove you wrong. I will absolutely be recommending this to my friends!

Rowoon made this series. His acting has gotten better with every series, and his character kept me coming back

I remembered seeing him in a guest role in Black and thinking the same thing! I was so happy to see he'd gotten a bigger role in When Time Stopped :)
