The BL was nice... but it didn't make me go "wow". I mean of course I enjoyed the interactions but there were too many characters??? There should have a lot of improvement like they could have more communication btw the mcs :(
okay so let me type this out... i dont dislike this bl but i dont like it either... i get why they didnt kiss since zuho is an idol and thats totally alright i dont mind no kiss BLs... but it just left me in a lot of questions??? why yoojae had such rude behavior to hanjoon? why did yoojae change his mind? why he agreed to kiss him? why yoojae got jealous when he threw the chocolates away and just wanted to be friends? This show screams platonic romance more for me. there was lack of moments that would let the audience see more chemistry between the leads. the cinematography uh well... kind of all over the place with all of a sudden cuts that made me think what actually happened... the time skips was sudden i felt confused. it was cute but it could be fun to watch if the storyline wasnt rushed. i would have preferred if they showed more sweet moments rather than hanjoon running in the last ep :(
I don't get why people are so invested in kissing scenes?? like the reason this drama got lower ratings than other ones because it doesn't have much kiss scenes? 😑 while people are nagging abt the kisses they literally failed to see the brilliant chemistry between the mcs [I do get the 2nd main lead should get more time], the plotline is amazing they tried to follow the main manhwa story thoroughly, the hugs were just 🥺🥺🥺 so warm, I didn't see any plotholes, the story wasn't rushed like other ones like the early 2020's dramas. like each eps had 30+ mins runtime. and after we get this kind of cinematography, good actors, good posts, people still going to nag abt kissing??? love is not all about kissing. this show is a 9.5 for me [I need justice for 2nd leads]
the show could have been good. the plotline was decent but the execution was poor probably due to lack of budget. There were a lot of unanswered stuffs... there was so much chemistry between the mcs but the time was too less... i wanted to see more of how they became strangers to lovers. i get it the kiss scene is good but it just doesnt quite get the show much highlights
