Strong potential but has disappointments
I really anticipated this drama as watching some of the behind the scenes releases by the actors as wrap up promotion had me excited. I can see quite an improvement in ZLH’s acting, he’s been really using his eyes to act. He truly has a lot of potential!I felt disappointed however, with the story and plot, it was too much of back and forth. As for the camera work and all, some angles really made the characters unflattering. Like many have said, it really had the short drama feels of being dramatic. They had a promising budget for costumes and set but with the direction and messy plot, I felt if gave off some cheap vibes. They had a strong cast with great actors and actresses but they were not able to show their full potential due to a weak script and messy directing. Such a shame that I rolled my eyes many times at the plot. The final climax really made the story feel better, but it didn’t happen till literally the last few episodes. Many voiced that the ending was too sad, however, I think not all stories need a perfect happy ending. Each character ended their story in their own unique ways. Overall, it was still enjoyable , but don’t have too high of hopes!

Beautiful, cast, story , best of 2026 so far!
I am loving this drama so much! I have to say, director Zeng really has a that amazing touch to create beauty, magic, and chemistry on screen. I’m a huge fan of Zhang Ling He, he is visually captivating. In this drama you can see he really has improved a lot in his acting. I love it when actors use their eyes to express their emotions. Tian Xi Wei never fails to captivate me with her bubbly and strong demeanor, she can be cute and fiesty at the same time!. This is definitely my favorite c-drama of 2026 so far!Was this review helpful to you?

what an enjoyable few weeks it has been! Both ML and FL are just eye candies! Really like the simple story line, with not too much drama. Reality is already harsh enough. It’s just nice to have a light drama to make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside! This drama is really pretty in a lot of ways, from the visuals, sets, to outfits. It is so much fun to watch the main leads grow in love together. One thing this drama reminds us about is to always love yourself first. Seld confidence follows when you take care of yourself well. Honestly will be one of those dramas I would rewatch!Was this review helpful to you?
