Is there a relation between her caring or not caring for her grandma and her dating in the previous hospital? I didn't know we should stop going on with life when a family member is ill. I don't remember the exact words, but from what the grandma told the ML, both her and the FL were very happy when her years-long cancer treatment were successful the first time. I believe it implies that both went through it together and the FL also supported her grandma in one way or another during that difficult time. It's not like she didn't care at all.

During my mom's year-long cancer treatment, I still went to work, laughed with friends, and watched dramas on my free time. I must be a very ungrateful daughter by your logic.

What happened between Hari and her grandma was really heartbreaking. But I think it's one of the messages they wanted to convey: communication is very important and being nice to people around you because you really never know when it would be the last time. My only comfort in this part is that, before passing, at least the grandma had Jiui who understood her and she knew Hari would have a reliable guy next to her.

It must be very exhausting in all those crying scenes. Shin Ye Eun did an amazing job. My heart arched along with Hari.

Yeeun playfully giving side-eye to Jaewook and Jaewook taking the coat of the director's shoulders as soon as Hari arrived is so funny.

That guy's probably her problematic younger brother? Or a stepsibling from her mother's remarriage? She may be too ashamed of him to introduce to her boyfriend. She seemed to already have an inferiority complex, feeling like she's a country bumpkin, while her boyfriend's a young and rich doctor from the city.

That's my thought too.

Maybe an annoying step-brother? She didn't seem to have good relationship with him.

Hope this plot ends by the next episode. I wanna punch both men's faces so badly.

Maybe she wasn't harsh with Chiyeon because she saw him as a colleague and a friend?

Anyway, we're looking from different perspectives, so it'll be hard for us to agree with each other, and it's okay.

Next episode is going to be so good! I like that they give Jiui a chance for an overnight trip with Hari. It will erase his regret and his own imagination when Hari went there with Chiyeon last time.

Right? Even if his past was painful, he didn't let it get in the way of his new relationship.

I'm sorry but I have to disagree with you. All she did in this episode is grieving, sorting out her feelings, and it eventually came to her realization on how she badly treated Jiui. Although with good intentions (caring about her well-being), it was Chiyeon who went to her first and initiated the dinner, not the opposite. She told him to tend to his wound because she was thankful and sorry about it, and that's it. She didn't even tend to the wound herself.

You clearly haven't watched episode 8.

I can't believe he had the audacity to say something like that. LOL

Although I haven't watched many of his dramas (simply because the stories/genres are not my cup of tea), I loved his performance in "The Smile Has Left Your Eyes" a lot. So, I've quite high expectations for him.

For the 2nd couple, it should be just a misunderstanding. Things usually don't get dragged on too long in this drama, so I believe they should be fine by the next episode.

Chiyeon's quite a narcissist person for saying he was better than Jiui. Wow! That's unbelievable! Since you did quite sensible things lately, I will look pass it. Please move on and become a more likable person for the rest of the episodes.

Hari did a good job being honest and cleared things up with Chiyeon. Although feeling thankful for his help, she didn't even tend to his would, just holding a mirror up for him to do it himself. That's hilariously cute!!!

Except for the opening scene, episode 8 is so much light-hearted than I initially thought. I'm so happy my Jiui & Hari already made up and back to being happy together again. Yeahhhhhh!!!
