Who said that? IQiyi subtitles are VERY GOOD. MangoTV is the one who had bad subtitles especially from earlier release.

No. IQiyi subtitles are very good. It's on par with WeTV and Youku subtitles. The worst is MangoTV subtitles.

Generic costumes? Are you kidding me? Many other Chinese Costume dramas also have grand costumes. This drama was set in Ming Dynasty. Yes they are beautiful, BUT other Chinese dynasties such as Tang Dynasty, Han Dynasty, Song Dynasty, Qin Dynasty, Three Kingdoms era, Southern - Northern Dynasties, etc also have elegant and beautiful costumes. Many Fantasy Costume dramas also have beautiful designs.

STOP SPREADING FALSE STATEMENT! Who said Rebirth theme is banned in China? Have you watched many Chinese dramas? There are so MANY Rebirth dramas in China. For examples = Story of Kunning Palace, Blossom, The Princess Royal, Si Jin, Lost Track of Time, etc many more. That's for Full Length dramas. We also have so many Rebirth dramas and Time Travel dramas in short dramas.

It's production team CHOICE when they wanna change or keep the Rebirth theme. China NEVER ban Rebirth or Reincarnation dramas.

Xianxia dramas also have "Reincarnation" and "Multiple Lifetimes" elements.

Actually, this drama was planned to be released as 24 eps full length drama (45 mins) in the beginning, BUT Iriene Song got allegations about her involvement with Yu Menglong case from last year. So, the production team decided to divide the drama eps into short dramas category (15 mins duration) with 38 eps.

Wrong! Iriene Song always do full length dramas. She never had shorter dramas like you said.

Victoria Song is also very good in fighting scenes with Fight for Love.

Zhang Ling He is always great in romance dramas. His other dramas like Story of Kunning Palace, My Journey to You, The Best Thing, etc are very great to watch!

There are so many GREAT Chinese costume dramas. But it still depends on your taste whether you like it or not. So it's totally a subjective matter.

I watched Chinese dramas from 2009/2010 era. So I know all Chinese dramas (especially costume dramas) from 2010 until now.

Most of people in this world want to see kissing scenes in ROMANCE dramas. 99% of them expect intimacy anf physical scened as well like hugging, holding hands, intense romance scenes, kissing scenes, etc.

Maybe you fall into 1% category in this section. It means you are the minority here. Majority of people love romance dramas with intimacy scenes!

Are you serious? You have nothing to watch? PLEASE watch Zhang Linghe's drama "PURSUIT OF JADE". That one is very HOT right now.

There are SO MANY costume dramas when FL can fight like badass without magic. You need to watch more Chinese costume dramas with historical and palace politics genre. For examples = Legend of The Female General, Fight For Love, A Journey to Love, My Journey to You, Unveil Jadewind, etc many moreeeeeee.

Chinese men with long hair are super attractive! That's one of the reason why so many people LOVE costume dramas. You should explore other costume dramas with handsome actors + long hair. They are very gorgeous and stunning! For example My Journey to You (Zhang Ling He and Cheng Lei are very gorgeous here), Love in The Clouds (Neo Hou is super handsome here), Kill Me Love Me (Liu Xue Yi is very HOT here), Story of Kunning Palace (Zhang Ling He is very HOT here), Fated Hearts (Chen Zhe Yuan is very handsome here), and etc many more 🤭

Have you seen many other Chinese costume dramas? Your judgement is highly subjective. Many other Chinese costume dramas also have GREAT and GORGEOUS historical outfits. Many of those dramas costumes are even better than this drama.

Ugh stop overhyping. There are so many hits and trending Chinese dramas without Li Yu Chun OSTs. Also, she was rarely seen in other popular Chinese dramas. If you talk about popular OST singers like Zhou Shen and Liu Yu Ning, I will not say anything. In facts, Zhou Shen, Liu Yu Ning, Mao Bu Yi, Tia Ray, Jane Zhang, and Zhang Bi Chen have more popular and hits dramas than Li Yu Chun.
