Tbh I only like Shen Du in the main cast, for support cast only like Xu Wan, Jing Lin, Shen family's Butler. I usually love main cast and support cast (most of them) but why is everyone in this drama so annoying :(

Ain't no way Lu Chui Chui just straight up fell in love with that Jiang Liang Xing she's always hated for how protective he is right when he told her about their ONE TIME meeting as a kid. Like gurl you're literally having feelings for Lai Luo Zhi, yeh he's a bad guy but you still think about him so what's up with that random love line :( Am I missing something about their love development?

Don't bother. It's just a recap of the whole drama but more condensed. Watch the drama only and you'll be fine.

The thing I like about this version is that it doesn't start off only about the main character - Chen Hui - but rather he is an observer that represents us - the audience to witness the story of these amazing doctors. Hence the name "Fantastic Doctors" instead of "The Good Doctor" like other versions. The acting skills of these actors is also a big plus, the music choices, the camera angles,... I cried a lot watching this, def a good medical drama I would recommend <3

I agree! I also reached the part when the mom finally has a serious talk with Huan Huan and Zao Zao about her past mistakes. She's still annoying but not as much as before <3

Hotel Industry is not like normal office business lol. You should watch King the Land too since it's a drama that focus more on Hotel Industry (ofc with a funny loveline). In King the Land FML also worked for the hotel for around 7 years and got to pretty much the same place as FML in BCE and she's like a super talented girl who loves to work in a hotel since she was a kid. Idk if u missed the part where they mentioned that FML is currently a department manager before ML came and fired her for the cake incident or not but that's pretty good if she started from a normal hotel staff up to that position. She has connection yes but that also makes all her efforts became useless in front of her colleague. She's super good at her job but there are jealousy from others too. I think the reason why you think she made no progress is because she dress like a normal reception staff and going around caring for customers at hotel? Um that's also a normal thing in hotel Industry according to some hotel focused dramas I've watched. The same thing for FML in King the land and FML in Meet yourself (FML was a top hotel staff that major in room services at a big hotel in Beijing). FML in BCE is also deemed as a hard working and the best girl in her department with highest KPI results. Idk why you said she made no progress 🥹 Life in big city in China is no easy that's why even when she worked so hard for years she still can't afford to buy a brand new house for her family. If you wanna buy a house you gotta borrow from the bank and pay the debt for almost the rest of your life (that's how it is for most common workers). Also iirc she was waiting for a promotion consideration right before the cake incident and that's why she tried so hard to convince ML to not fire her.

Because there are parents like that in real life. I even see my mom in some scenes haha. It's more unbelievable if the parents say sorry, I love you child or I know I was wrong in cdrama. Since this series focus on real life lessons and family conflict I think it's suitable to have those characters. But yeh it also make my blood boiled and I just keep waiting to see if the mother finally realize something or not 🥹

Actually it's a bit of an Asian love mindset thing 🥹 there are some books and quotes that said promising to be with someone forever and ever is kind of unbelievable, so let's just say we will love for the present and every day that pass by, for as long as we're still together ❤️
