A ton happened, but the prototype has shown itself (Spoilers all the way)

Even though a bunch of stuff was fit into this episode - some subtly, some cleverly, some plainly, some comically - though surprisingly, the romance between our leads has almost taken a backseat to addressing the needs of the supporting cast.Still we also got the "day at home" between our two leads, which was, admittedly, cute and fun - even paying homage to their days in hospital. An impressive visual allusion you should keep an eye out for. It's not the most triumphant "victory lap" episode I've seen (you know, when the couple is finally together and they get to catch their breath being in love before the troubles of the world come their way, again) but the 15-20-ish minutes of total screen time given from this 60 minute episode were positive solid.Hae-Rin is probably the most interesting person this time around, with Dan-i coming in close second. The former is making efforts to right her wrongs, and set things straight going forward with everyone. This is most notable with the subplot involving Ji Seo-Jun. There's a grin-inducing slip up of Eun-Ho mentioning to Hae-rin that Dan-i and he live together was comical, though wonderful to see the knowing, resolute Hae-Rin take it with class and her gold medal smirk.(Does this actress play the female lead in anything worth seeing? She's a great support, but I think her chops would be great as female lead)Dan-i's uncovering of Eun-Ho's secret management of Kang's writing and caretaking is surprisingly heartfelt. Really interesting place to go to credits. Glad to see that Dan-i's not trying to be consoled, but that she's crying for not having been there for her man. That's love. Our other side characters bring it. Dan-i and Go have an excellent exchange at a café, enabling Dan-i to forge her independence; it's just a little strange because Go cost her the job in the first place......Looking forward to the conclusion and understanding what they synopsis snippets mean.

Just rip the band-aid off

So we skip the slow-mo kiss and jump straight to the 남친/여친 language. This episode was a rollercoaster mostly from the previews at the end of the previous episode.A few things are building regarding the disappeared author Kang, Eun-Ho opening up about his problems to Dan-i (reciprocity is important), Hae-Rin tries to apologize Seo-Jun (and her persistence is appealing to him), and formalities trump empirically proven awesomeness. It hurts and sucks.A bittersweet ending, no less, as a lovely moment is cut off by a teacher moment.Really good stuff, but man there's only three episodes left

차은호는 재일 남자; Eun-ho is the best dude ever

Never will he ever do wrong by Dani on purpose. This is probably the cutest of episodes, even though it starts out with a sucker punch from - once again - Ms. Go(!!!) Why can't she just let love into her life?*Spoilers*Seeing Haerin figure out that Dani and Eun-Ho are leaning into their feelings for each other had me wondering if she was going to call it out brazenly. (My wife thinks she'll be more subtle.) Haerin's folks like Seo-Jun, and he's growing more attracted to Haerin each episode; it's pretty great. I was slightly spoiled by a picture here on MDL, but still watching that flower bloom is great.Dani and Eun-Ho go on a date in probably the cutest manner possible. From the proposal, to the acceptance, to dinner and a movie. Every line of conversation shows them transcending the past, with their relationship in a narrow lane, and it's now changed into something much more romantic.Still no shared, eager kiss, because the title of this review.*End spoilers*Hats off to the acting. When someone's charmed or awe-struck, bashful or outraged, it's believable. I'm going to miss this quality when it's over in just a few episodes.

Eun-ho is the coolest and Dani is super woman

This was a great episode. We saw more development of Bong and Seo. We got to see Dani shining boldly in front of the main + supporting cast.해린 and 서준 have a great working relationship that is ripe to bloom.Ending of this episode sets up some pain points that are going to roll out over the next episodes, I can feel it. Growing a little anxious as the show is running out of episodes to pay everything off
