A LET DOWN. Started great but the characterisation are poor overall. Imo the psycho villain i absolutely hated…
I think the male kidnapper targeted him after the road rage incident they had and the cop knocked on his window and yelled at him for almost causing a car accident with him & his wife so the kidnapper doesn't like it when people yell at him since he has anger management issues
Why didn't the male kidnapper have the female nurse who was working for him help his wife escape the hospital (she can put her in wheelchair or gurney) and he could pick her up in his car BEFORE Chi Ung held his wife captive a few episodes ago?
After thinking about this, in retrospect, I disliked this drama and almost dropped it. ML was poker faced and…
ML can't trust anyone around him especially his in-laws & co-workers since they all either being threatened or working with the kidnappers or the in-laws .....He doesn't want them to see his emotions especially when nervous or it might alert them that he is working against them
His father-in-law betrayed him in their test study & only cared about VIP patients instead of other candidates that needed surgery but couldn't afford it ....Plus he was afraid to tell his wife about her dad's shady behavior and that the day of their daughter's death he was forced to do a stem cell surgery for a VIP & didn't know his daughter had accident that needed surgery to save her ....He was afraid to tell her since she was already depressed zo her dad being at fault would probably make her suicidal and she couldn't handle that at the time plus it being her dad's hospital and all 3 worked their so the business would be ruined too
ML went numb and shutdown and only had 1 person somewhat help who was the ex-cop but then he ruined things
“Counselling is confidential, so I can’t really share”. But I can tell you that he comes to me for counselling.…
I watched a Chinese movie where the doctor told all the family EXCEPT the patient that she had cancer and then I talked to a friend who grew up in China & she said that it really hapens which is a major HIPPA violation
I am actually bored by the male villain...He has the dead eyes and NO psycho smirk or anything scary to me....I admit I am used to the great villains like Lee Joon, Kim Ji Hoon and of course Nam Goong Min played greeat psychos too
Plus the villain outrunning 8 cops when he is not in good shape at all
Nam Goong Min is definitely carrying this drama & this is the only drama I liked the FL actress in out of 4 dramas
I figured it was either her bio dad or brother so that is why age would have helped
I never trust psychiatrists in crime dramas since most are villains
They should have targeted the Father in Law since HE chose who got the surgery NOT the ML

Last experiment is the common ML & FL being chased by almost everyone so nothing new
Plus the villain outrunning 8 cops when he is not in good shape at all
Nam Goong Min is definitely carrying this drama & this is the only drama I liked the FL actress in out of 4 dramas
