this was not a great series. i feel like the flow of the story could have been better. while quiyu was cold he did not deserve the ill treatment from youen and his brother. yes, i understand how it could have been deserved. quiyu was the star for me. at first i was annoyed but he redeemed himself in the end. gave him a "pass" bc he had a rough upbringing. i like how he softened and did not want to lose youen. could have ended better.
didnt care for the second couple. i know everyone will prefer them... the brother was weird and i didnt like that he acted like he was 5. him and the other guy did. but im glad he gave quiyu a chance. there was potential but it fell flat. hope to see the mains in another series.
the bet was who can seduce who first. the guy basically folded in the first ep. when he was begging for forgiveness was really embarrassing... sunwoo had a crush on jaeheon first but acted cold and uninterested when things got real. felt like jaeheon put in more effort. idk
potential. same network but this series we were allowed to see the intimacy. double standard. the childish acting and being remembered about their age difference. weird...
the assassin story was more interesting. chemistry was there. if you cant "rock the boat" with kissing scenes just dont do them. it is possible. too fast.
how come it's set in korea? does anyone know if jeff and barcode had to learn korean or are they fluent? because "comedy" is tagged i will give this series a pass. i guess i thought they would go a different route. i never learn my lesson. it was not a bad series. it was light, short and sweet.
raffy and rome made this series for me. the chemistry felt natural. i just wish they didnt make it seem like rome was a second choice for raffy. jack and dean should break up for good. they both have a wandering eye. didnt care for arnold and tua. the actor that plays pete needs to learn how to be serious. he looked like he wanted to laugh in most of his scenes. not a bad series seeing as i stopped expected anything. hope i see more of aou and boom. :)
i can see people preferring the second couple. i do not. the show started off strong then it went silent after episode 10. i knew going into this series that there was a chance they would not know how to end it but choose a wedding or whatever. i liked seeing the actors again especially since this could not have happened back then. i may be reading into things (i am) but i want believe that they hinted the other leads also got married. basically, i am going to choose to believe both couples got their happy ending. choosing to say i got closure because the og ended abruptly.
