Honestly it's 50-50, many moments felt icky to me but the story kept me going.

probably because the novel was developed around the same time which was also short. and i also think a story like this would get tainted if it had fillers and side couples to make screen time longer

if you want to know how it goes in the book, it is kongdech being ordained and tanrak and barth do end up together. tho both projects were made around the same time so it doesn’t mean 100% that’s how it will go but many scenes have been the same so far (tho i have a feeling they’ll be married in the series version because of the ring on barths finger but we’ll see!)

The difficult thing about this #TicketToHeaven trailer was that the pilot itself was already so outstanding and powerful that it became one of the best works we’ve ever done. So instead of trying to replace it, we chose to tell the story in a different direction and mood, following the OST, which carries a brighter, more hopeful feeling. We wanted this to become a new beautiful memory that could exist alongside the original."
