I'm a little sad after watching the preview. i do want a happy ending for both of them, but i also didn't want…
spoiler for the novel!!
they do come back and finish their exams, their getaway is only about 2 days i think? whether it changes in the series i do not know but wanted to tell you :)
"Episode 4 was the first time we saw Barth and Tanrakās relationship evolve into something far deeper and…
ep 2&3 focused on lust (lust means letting desire control us, ep3 opening with lust as one of the deadly sins yadda yadda), and the opening of ep 4 was the quote ālove is patient.ā itās pretty obvious theyāre trying to highlight this isnāt purely about desire thatās fleeting between them because they have no one else like them (being gay). itās not a āpuritanāstandpoint to point that out
Am I dreaming, or we know already the end of the series? It seems that they finish together and Tanrak decides…
if you want to know how it goes in the book, it is kongdech being ordained and tanrak and barth do end up together. tho both projects were made around the same time so it doesnāt mean 100% thatās how it will go but many scenes have been the same so far (tho i have a feeling theyāll be married in the series version because of the ring on barths finger but weāll see!)
Man, I just watched the trailer, didn't know they released it like a week ago, because I was told this was going…
This is from the editing team for ticket to heaven on the trailer and why it was on the more lighter side: "In the first draft of the trailer, before the OST was finished, it was much heavier and gloomier than this. But when we sat down and watched it, it felt like we were repeating the same old path. Then, after hearing the song, we realized the thing still missing was āa smile.ā So we decided to focus on the inner struggle, and the question of whether, for the sake of that smile, walking this path is truly the right thing to do. The difficult thing about this #TicketToHeaven trailer was that the pilot itself was already so outstanding and powerful that it became one of the best works weāve ever done. So instead of trying to replace it, we chose to tell the story in a different direction and mood, following the OST, which carries a brighter, more hopeful feeling. We wanted this to become a new beautiful memory that could exist alongside the original."
