ZWI is one my favorite actors and every time im watching something of him he becomes my currently favorite and this drama (although it is messy sometimes and i wish they could show more of her “first life” because it would be just as interesting as this one) it serves its purpose and it was the most engaging one for me in a while, it’s so good when i can’t stop watching because every episode ends on a cliffhanger and im forced to watch the next one.. these type of dramas are the best for me im breathing this one and I can’t bear to part with it 💔

so Niao Niao might be one of my favorite female characters of all time now. this is also Zhao Lusi's GOAT performance that i have ever seen, she was incredible here in every scene the way she delivered everything to Niao Niao and then some... it's crazy. oscar worthy project the whole crew here deserves them all

i would like to say something about A Nian that i never understood, people here and there always expressed how annoying they found her, but since S1 i always saw her as very sensible and smart, admitting that she was indeed immature. and i think that's wise of her, im really proud of her so far with the new episodes. Now XinYue… girl behaves like she’s mature when she’s actually still her inner child so bad her ego speaks for herself (no hate though she had a hard life i think, unlike A Nian)
