Ok it's 1 AM i have school tomorow but i have just finished it and i need to express my feelings.
First i have to say to everyone who don't want to watch it because of the 100+ episodes, just watch it ! Each episode lasts 30min so it's really fast. But i have to admit that i watched this drama in one year ! Why ? Just because it's the type of drama you want to watch when you need to laugh, don't have a lot of time ( for exemple during exam ) and you need some fresh air. Every episode have a different story but it has a link and every charachter has his "highligh" moment. This drama made me laugh ( like reaaaaally ), cry, had goosehumps ! I loved every single charachter and i am very sad to say goodbye, but well after a year it was time i think :)
Anyway, I have so much more to say about it but i am just gonna say : watch it, it totally worth it

This short movie is really cute. Altought it was done to promote an application it's really pleasant to see the relation between the two protagonist. There is nothing to say about the plot it's really simple. As a Kwan and Win shipper in Hormones, I was really happy to see them play this cute story.
I suggest all "Hormones" fans to watch it espacially those who ship Kwan and Win couple and are a little frustrate lol. It's somehow a way to see them together haha !

About the Charachteres : Mok Dan was sometime boring but i still liked her.

My favorite of the series !

Reply 1988 was in my list for a long time and I just watched it recently. I was actually quite hesitant regarding the period (88) which is completly unkwnown to me and didn't seem appealing. Reply 1997 was one of my favorite drama and I really liked the 1994 version even though they were some lenghts in it, so I gave it a try despite the 1.30 hours episodes ! And I don't regret it AT ALL.

Story : I cannot say much about the scenario as it is really a "slice of life" type of drama. Each episode has its story with a guided thread, focus and a moralty. It talks about family, friendships, love, work, and so much more. You will definitly find one story in which you recognize yourself or a piece of your life. The stories were really touching especially the one with the parents. I got invested in EVERY story, and the bound uniting all those people living together was the driving force of the drama. I sobbed so much at the end of the drama with all the flashbacks. The only down side of the scenario for me is clearly the ending couple. As a rom-com lover, it could have ruined all the drama but the rest was done so well that I accept that. I am still convinced that they changed the husband last minute because of the popularity of the actor because it didn't make any sense. They did my boy dirty and I am dispapointed he didn't have a proper ending (the love declaration really broke my heart , ALL his scenes broke my heart for real). An other reason why I thnik the story was changed last minute is they never showed any interaction between Deok Sun and Jung Hwan's father despite them being really closed at the begining. Everything was made for here to end up with JH at the begining and I am sad they didnit really discussed their feeling (even in the future) because they clearly liked each other.

Characters/Acting : Clearly the best part of this drama. I am not gonna talk in details about all of them because it will be way too long. I was happy to find the main couple of parents, who comes bacl in each season. They are so funny and touching at the same time and the drama would not be the same without Dong Il IMO.
Every one played their part at perfection and I got really attached to everyone (except maybe for Bora who was quite annoying for third of the drama. A special shout out to Deok Sun/Hyeri. I was impressed by her acting and I loooooved her character. I was less impressed by Teak/Park Bo gum : I found him nice but didn't really like his "puppy" side and didn't find any chemistry with deok sun. Lastly I loved the chemistry between deok sun and Jung Hwan and her friendship with Dong Ryung who was clearly her soulmate as she said, they were so similar !

Music was cute and well used but I won't be listening to the ost. Special mention for the goat sound.
The episodes were really long so most of the time, I was watching it in 2 times because we do have a life sometimes :). I will not rewatch it because of the lenght of the episodes but I would still watch some scenes of my ship (that actually happened in RL so it's ok) or some funny moments.

First of all, thanks to netflix for bringing us such greeat dramas lately.

I finished the whole series in 3 days (hello quarantine) and it was AMAZING. When I saw the trailer I knew I wanted to watched it because it looked very well done and the teaser is really appealing ! But those kind of thriller/psychological drama aren't really my thing so I though : yeah maybe one day. One night I decided to watch the first episode and here I am 3 days later wanting to watch it again.

First the main cast and characters: I only knew Kim Dong Hee from Iteawon Class. His role in this drama wasn't my favorite so I really didn't know what to expect : guys ! I really hope he is gonna have a long career cause I was amazed by his acting ! It's not easy to play ambiguous roles like that ! I could really feel how tortured the character was. The trailer is really misleading as you expect to see a "bad guy". Not gonna defend his business cause for me, he was a pimp, but you can understand his choice as the girls were totally ok with it. I just didn't like how he let so minhee like that in the last episode, I really hope they gonna explain that if we have a second season
The FL Park Joo Hyun was the perfect pair for him ! Like the teacher said : They are really similar even tho they have a complete different life. I know that she ruined the business but honestly it wasn't her intentions and once she is determined to help the hero, she goes all in. She made bad choices and was sometimes annoying when she wanted to solve everything alone, but she was smart and also trapped in her life. Jisoo was her escape and you can feel that when she comes spend so much time in his house, just to not stay with her family.
Their scenes in the last episode were incredible and showed how much they cared for each other, espacially her.
Loved their teacher !

The only character I didn't understand was so minhee. She was okay with everything and even begged to stay with them but still blamed FL and ML at the end.
The ost was so nice, not too present but perfect with the scenes and I never skipped the introduction

And this ending... just gonna say that they better give us a season 2 cause I really want to know what happened

Great drama and may watch it again if the season 2 is annonced soon !

Didn't think I would like this so much !

When I saw that A love so beautiful was gonna be adaptated in korean I was really happy as I liked the chinese version and its story. When I saw the teaser though...I was not that excited, I felt like it was a basic web drama like we have a lot !
Since netflix decided it to put it on its platform and the episodes were just 20min, I decided to give it a go, just to have a real opinion, and I am glad I did.
I will try my best to not review it by comparing it to the chinese one, because it would be unfair in my opinion as I really enjoyed both of them for different reasons. Obviously there are some things that need to be said, and when watching, you cannot help but compare.
The main point is that the 2 dramas are quite different IMO, expect for the story and its character of course, but the whole mood is really really different. I felt that this version was a lot more fluffy, cute and funny. The chinese one was more serious and "mature". Also, the male lead was much more likeable in this one, less stoic and showing much more interest for the girl, which bothered me in the chinese one.

I think the actors did a great job portraying their character. I don't know Kim Yohan (yes I am what we call an old Kpop fan and don't really follow all those new groups) but he was quite good in his role and I didn't feel cringey with his acting. As for Ju Yeon, I knew her from Dr Romantic 2 where I really liked her. I wasn't really convinced at first as she doesn't really look like a High schooler but as the story follow them until adulthood, it didn't borther me more than that. Them together were really cute and I felt their chemistry.
I enjoyed watching the rest of the friends and got attached to every single one of them, I really felt like they were a bunch of friend enjoying their youth. Ji hwan made me laugh so much and every girl should have a boyfirend as caring as him !
The story followed the original one so I knew what was coming next. They cut some parts as this drama is shorter but they still manage to give us the main stories. It did feel rushed sometimes and for someone who doesn't know anything about the story, some reactions may seem weird but I liked that they went straight to the point with no useless scenes. The episodes went really fast and managed to keep me engaged until the end. I will not talk about what their didn't do well as it will give spoiler but let's just say the chinese version took more time to explain more deeply the characters choices and mindset.
I really liked the OST, it was cute. My only downside is the last episde, I wish they would give dae sung some air time to end his story well, as he was a big part of this drama.

Overall a really cute drama. Definitly not something that I will remember for years but I spent a really good time watching it and had a smile on my face every episodes. I would recommend it for people who just want a cute story, with no superfluous stories and attaching characters.

A light romantic comedy to watch without overthinking !

I really hesitated before starting this one as I saw some really bad comments about the ethic of it and how it was boring at the end blablabla. I've finaly started watching it because of a MV I saw on Youtube displaying the amazing chemistry between the leads and thanks to some positive reviews here and I am glad I did !

I am gonna start with the story/writing : Prosopagnosia is quite popular lately in dramas and director/secretary stories are around for quite a long time so I would not say it is particulary original. There is a lot of plot holes/scenes that are completely wtf (like how come he cannot reconize his voice/hair) that I think bothered a lot of us watching . But once you stop asking yourself all those questions that clearly won't have an answer you can sure enjoy it and all the cute and funny moments that the drama has to offer. There is a little bit of "mystery" with a police investigation all along that managed to keep me engaged in the story and I think we had all the answers at the end and that is was quite "realistic" nothing too dramatical. As for the lying part, it's the same, do not overthink, it didn't bother me more than that as the intentions where not bad at all imo.

Acting/cast : Its 4 leads and their chemistry is clearly for me the strength of this drama.
The leads chemistry is really something but I think Kim Young Kwang is the type of actor that can make you believe he is in love with any female lead (you know what kind of actor I am talking about) their kiss scene where really believable and a special mention to the hand washing sccene :)
I knew Kim Young Kwang from its support roles in a lot of dramas and in white christhmas where I discovered him. He his really charismatic and I didn't managed to hate him, even in the beginning where he was suppose to act like a "cold" boss. His role was not cliché at all and he was more on the "nice male lead" side. Of course the looks are helping :p. Really liked his acting and I can't wait to see him in an other lead role.
It was my first time seeing Jin Ki Joo on screen. She was cute even tho sometimes annoying in the last episodes. Her loyalty to her boss & colleagues made me like her even when I found her annoying
A special SHOUT OUT to Veronica Park "speaking". My favorite character after the male lead. She was sooo funny and I would re watch some scenes for sure. She reminded me a lot of Shong Song Yi from my love from the stars. Her storyline with Gi Dae Ju was cute and I liked her friendship with the female lead.
I really enjoyed the last episode and the last scene, and didn't feel like it was rushed. I would even watch it if they give us a second season !

Overall a cute drama, very funny and it's exactly what I needed. If you can switch your brain off and just enjoy good chemistry and funny scenes then watch it !!!
