Just be a little more patient. :)

I think he'll get more screen time once the ML "dies." I'm focused on the fact that their marriage was purely a family arrangement. He definitely loved her, but he wanted to reach the top (so he could take care of her), and that left him with no time to build any kind of relationship between them. They were married for years, yet they never even spent New Year's Eve together. They probably never consummated the marriage, and it feels like the love only existed on one side. At least, that's how it seems to me.

He plays Shen Xi He's father in Blossoms of Power, which is currently airing, and he's such a loving father. While watching him in Blossoms of Power, I was so conflicted because I couldn't decide whether I hated him or liked him. 😂

Guys, just thinking about the possibility of Prince Ding taking that woman as a concubine already makes me so mad! My blood boils just imagining the sister-in-law doing everything she can to convince him to accept his ex. Do you really think Ye Li would agree to that? I have a feeling that even if she somehow accepted it for some reason, in the end he still wouldn’t go through with marrying the other woman. I want to hear what you all think! 👀🍿

I haven’t watched the ending yet, but I’m already seeing some comments about Ye Xian’s death. Guys, for the love of God, he’s been about to die since the beginning of the drama. So I’ve been emotionally prepared for his death for a long time already.

Where are you all watching it? Because on iQIYI, WeTV, and Viki, there are only up to episode 34. Today I woke up early to buy the Express and watch the episodes, and they’re not selling it. And now I’m seeing a lot of comments about the drama’s ending.

I’m not really a fan of her, but there’s no specific reason for that. I’ve watched a couple of her dramas and actually liked both of them.

I couldn’t get past the first 30 minutes of the first episode! But I think that might be because it’s not the type of drama I usually enjoy. I prefer something more in the crime genre or with a more serious tone.
It also didn’t help that I’m not a fan of the actress, and the male lead’s voice sounded very strange to me.
Unfortunately, this drama just isn’t for me. Maybe I’m not enjoying Korean dramas as much anymore after I started watching Chinese ones… but I’ll keep trying.

It’s been at least two years since I stopped regularly watching K-dramas because of their endings and the nonsense in the final episodes. I found the premise of “Our Universe” interesting, and look how terrible it turned out. And now this drama, which in the first two episodes seemed like it was going to be good… but I can’t stand the female lead anymore. I can’t stand this drama anymore, seriously! It leaves me with no hope for future K-dramas. Nowadays, I only watch C-dramas.

I actually think the rest of the drama is okay, but I understand what you said about that scene, it did make me want to skip ahead a few parts. My biggest issue is really the screen time given to the main characters.

This drama isn’t bad, but I’m very torn between continuing it now or putting it on hold and waiting for more episodes and comments to see if it’s really worth it.
It’s been a long time since I watched something with this actress. The first Chinese drama I watched with her was in 2017, alongside Deng Lun, which was almost 9 years ago. Since then, I haven’t followed any of her other works, so I started this drama mainly because of the FL. The problem is that her screen time is extremely limited. We’re already on episode 8, and so far the FL barely appears, which has been bothering me a lot especially since I started this drama because of her.
Another negative point is the 2 FL. Her character is very irritating.
As for the ML, I’m personally not a fan. I’ve never managed to continue any of his dramas I usually watch one or two episodes and then drop them.

Regarding the story, I think the FL is an undercover police officer. I also have the impression that the son of the policeman and the restaurant owner might be another undercover police officer. This suspicion came up after a photo appeared, and I tried to associate him with one of the men who work alongside the FL, but I couldn’t identify him for sure.

In the end, I’m thinking about putting this drama on hold, letting more episodes pile up, and seeing how the story develops before deciding whether to continue or not.

Where can I find this drama? I have almost all the paid platforms Viki, Youku, iQIYI and still I haven’t found this drama. Does anyone know?

What happened is that the Yasukuni Shrine in Japan is a very sensitive place for Chinese people because it honors several Japanese military figures, including some who are considered war criminals from World War II.
I read somewhere that a Japanese general, who was the commander-in-chief of the troops that captured Nanjing in 1937, is also honored at this shrine.
Did he know about this, or was his mistake just not knowing the history? It’s hard to tell.
