Are we just ignoring the fact that ML thinks she is a cheater and he especially hate cheaters due to his dad cheating…
His personal family issues or his feelings for her don't justify anything of what he did to her, especially because he never explained any of that to her. He wasn't completely honest with her either.
This isn't about lying being right or that his feelings don't matter. The thing is HOW he handled the whole situation. What she did in NO way justifies such reaction. He only knew her for like a day. So finding out she isn't the person he thought she was could be disappointing but he should also understand that it wasn't something personal. It's not like she wanted to hurt his feelings. Plus, she apologized sincerely. She isn't trying to play with him or anything. So if he's projecting his family drama on her, that's not her fault. And just because he's traumatized doesn't mean that he can go around hurting everyone's hard work.
And if he really didn't want her to see her, he could've at least listen to her situation and find something that works for them. Because she's not there to make him miserable, she's there to pay her bills. And he isn't there to really work, just to protect his mom. So he could at least understand that this isn't about him but about her family. Anyone would be able to understand that and stop acting as if she had tried to scam him or something.
She's just a stranger, so of course she doesn't understand why he's acting like it's something deeper than just a kiss. And he never really explained her either so what's she's supposed to do about it?
He can't be hurt all he wants, but what makes people mature or immature, thoughtful or not, empathetic or cold, etc, it all depends on how people deal with their own feelings and how people treat others. And if this guy reacted like this over her lie, when she's basically a stranger. I don't wanna know how he would react to other stuff. The fact that he's a mama boy but doesn't even care about the four(three) mothers working under him says VOLUMES about him. Nothing the FL did justifies the way he's acting. If he's an adult and a boss, he should act like it.
It's not about people's reasoning skills my friend, it's common sense. People have a certain standards and a sense of what's acceptable or not. Welcome to people having values and opinions.
PS. Yeah, she could've told him the truth from the beginning but they're strangers. She literally doesn't know him, and he's her boss. She doesn't know if he would fire her for lying or not. Plus, telling her entire family situation to a random guy she almost slept with once is not her thing. She was already embarrassed about her unemployment and lied to him in the past. It's so easy to see things from his perspective but understanding the FL is wild work? I don't think so.
The only thing I agree with you is that the misunderstanding is frustrating. And thinking that they're gonna fall for each other while he thinks she's married and has a kid is very weird to me. The friend being added to the mix doesn't help.
They're hilarious and adorable. I love this couple so much. The final scenes had me rolling on my bed. First because they looked adorable and then because of the second hand embarrassment LMAO.
Drama, please STAY GOOD. I've been dropping romcoms like flies this year, it's wild.
FL: has real life problems with debt, sick mom and unemployment. Pretty much could end up homeless. ML: We spent like a day and a half together and kissed twice, so get out of my face and starve to death with your six years old child, because Idk what earning a living, or maturity, or just common sense, actually means!!
Dude, how in the world am I supposed to take this guy seriously and ship him with our FL, or any woman for that matter? The fact that he saw her kneel in front of him and he still kept acting like a 12 years old was ridiculous. Idk much about office work, but your boss harassing you to quit because you met in the past and kissed twice sounds like something you should be able to report to HR.
PS2. I kinda want the SFL to be a villain. Everyone treats her like trash and no one cares about what she wants.…
So, because he saved her she should've been like "wow, he tried to help me so now he has the right to ruin my life. I'm going to marry him and let him use me against my dad because now my life has no real value and what happens to me doesn't matter anymore"???
Him saving her life doesn't solve her problems. And he can't really complain when he refused to stop the marriage himself. That's the point.
So yeah, the CP has the right to punish her for trying to kill him. They're simply going to do what they have to do. Same for her and him. They don't owe each other anything. It's nothing personal.
You seem to be the only person here who not only has not criticised the actress herself but also likes the character.…
Ah, yeah. Don't worry. I was simply explaining why I wasn't attacking the actress like everyone else. I understood your point.
And same. Her acting doesn't deserve any particular reaction, imo. Neither positive nor negative attention, because it literally doesn't stand out in any way.
PS2. I kinda want the SFL to be a villain. Everyone treats her like trash and no one cares about what she wants.…
It's not like she's in any position to care about random people rn. And why should she care about the CP and his people? Does he care about her? Nope. He literally couldn't care less about how she was dragged into this whole mess against her will.
Now that he knows she's doing all this because she loves his cousin he's planning to forgive her and let her go? No. He's simply waiting for the right timing to punish her (aka. kill her).
She's no saint, but she's definitely not worse than anyone else.
After watching multiple sageuk what i understand is that women in the palace are not supposed to go out that often.…
I say it because they know the left minister has people on them, so it doesn't make sense got them to just expose her all the time. They are easily be the same spies he has always work with, which means they would definitely know the face of all his enemies, including the Crown Princess.
What's with these cousins and them saying a bunch of BS to their girlfriends. 🙄 Because they talk like that…
PS2. I kinda want the SFL to be a villain. Everyone treats her like trash and no one cares about what she wants. Father or boyfriend they're all the same, treating her like her feelings don't matter.
What's with these cousins and them saying a bunch of BS to their girlfriends. 🙄 Because they talk like that is that one went and tried to off herself and the other tried to off other people.
And why would you put my girl Dal I in danger by saying she's your girlfriend? Not that the Crown Prince is doing a better job of keeping her identity low profile but yikes. It's a miracle no one has recognized her so far.
You seem to be the only person here who not only has not criticised the actress herself but also likes the character.…
I think that's true for everyone there. The Crown Prince wasn't going to marry her as a favor to her. She was going to be part of his plan to kill his dad. And we know that to kill that guy they're gonna have to go through a lot of other people first given how high his position is right now. So yeah, she tried to kill the CP but it's not like she owed him anything? It's not like she knows him and sees him as a good guy? She can't even be sure that he wasn't going to kill her first on revenge against her father. How can she trust the guy? To us he's the good and poor ML, to her he's just a random guy trying to use her for his own benefits. Plus, this also worked as a declaration to her father.
Given both her dad and the MLs position, she couldn't directly reject him. After all, she's just a woman in Joseon. They're not going to let her chose anything for herself, so she created a situation where they couldn't take the control from her. It's easy to think "oh, she tried to kill my fave character" but from her perspective they're just a bunch of men trying to ruin her life. She was minding her own business enjoying the sunset with her boyfriend and then these guys dragged her into their little game. And when the CP and a minister play games, it's always a life or death situation. Girl is just trying to survive here.
Her boyfriend will probably not be too happy with her shooting his cousin, but isn't he plotting to kill her dad?? I don't think he's in any position to judge. Especially when she asked him to do something about the whole situation and he simply decided to be like "I'm out. Go marry my cousin".
PS. I don't like to judge actors because they're just people doing a job. It's not like every damn actor is going to give an award winning performance every damn time. Like, as long as I'm not distracted by someone's acting it's fine. And I don't find her distracting. I've seen actual bad actors before.
First of all, the leads are damn cute. I love them so much. And I kinda love how Dal I was the comic relief instead of the source of the drama this episode. She's just so good at making us laugh.
Cousin gave up a little too fast on his lover lmao. I think he simply doesn't want to be in laws with her dad. Or maybe he really doesn't want to get killed in the name of love.
The SFL left a strong impression on me. Good for her for not letting those men use her and kill her just for their own plans, and good for her for taking control and protecting herself when her boyfriend proved to be too scared to do so. BUT is this only about survival or she also wants power? Because if she truly wants freedom and control over her life, her dad should be next in her death note. If she wants power he's more useful alive, tho.
I think I have watched BS like this before. It is getting tiring. Suddenly a teenage girl is finding around 30…
You think a noble girl can't pay for some mercenaries? And have you not seen how powerful her dad is? She probably didn't even do anything, just asked for a favor from anyone connected to her family like we saw in the post credit scene. Btw, being a teenager isn't even a thing in this context.
I recommend Innocent Man. The ML, FL and SFL in that show are all wild.
I love that drama, I even rewatched it last year. The intro is so iconic I can reply it on my head. This is hilarious from a 2025 perspective, but I was a ChaeKi shipper. LMAO
EP5: I'll be Ah Jin #1 defender till the end. My girl is just trying to live life. But since people attack her, she has to defend herself. 🤷
Btw, the aunt knew her BROTHER was abusing his children and did nothing about it. And now she can't even give her nephew a hug or smile? Auntie if you had done something earlier, maybe your bro would be alive and your nephew wouldn't have to end up in jail as a minor, because he was trying to protect his brother, a little child. If I were her, I would apologize to him for being a bad aunt. What type of family is that.
I just can't stand any adult in this story, tbh (except for the trio that grew up, I guess).
The CEO scares me. I feel like she's very similar to Ah Jin. Which can be good only if she stays on our side...
