yeah, thanks for the warning anyway. idk if i’ll end up watching it cause i haven’t tuned into a weekend drama since “it’s beautiful now” in 2022 but, we’ll see haha

yeah, i know. i try not to avoid watching stuff bc of writers though, i have liked dramas written by "bad script" writers so i like to give things a fair shot. and sometimes i've disliked dramas by screenwriters i thought i liked! so, i try to proceed with caution but also not hold too much bias.
i totally understand being scorned by a writer though, there's no need for you to try their work again lol
I think it's because Iqiyi has it. I watched there.
viki has a lot of recent dramas from iqiyi (at least in my region) so i don't think that's why, it could just be another licensing reason or iqiyi just didn't want to share it
It was filmed years earlier in 2016 (if I remember correctly). Btw you are right, the feeling is so 2015-16!
I wonder what took it so long to be released! But yeah, you can just tell. From the styling to the filters and even the way the poster is edited, it all screams 2015-16.
do you ever wonder, “hmm why doesn’t this actor appear in dramas anymore” and then you go & read their bio… that always gives you the answer.
(especially if it’s a male celeb. he did give me super creepy vibes in delightful girl choon hyang so i cant say that i was super shocked to read that.)
the styling of this drama looks so ugly 😭 i’m not usually picky about visuals but SHEESH. why is everybody styled like they are about to star in charlie and the chocolate factory
I hope this drama's success is proof to casting directors that they shouldn't just cast young rookies for romance dramas (not that this drama is just romance, it's much more than just that) However the romance is a wonderful part of it, and I don't think I'd be enjoying it as much if the leads weren't who they are.
Just felt like saying this since I have seen actors (not even just in Kdramaland, but in Hollywood too, ) say that they stopped receiving romance scripts once they got to a certain age.
i pulled this from an article, but it says “Beauty and the Devoted follows the romance between an actress who hits rock bottom and a producing director who helps her.”
There's been an update:"#LeeKwangHee also joins the drama #SLine #S라인 He will play the role of Jun-seon, an…
same here! i want the love line between soohyuk and dahee to happen the most. i’ve seen them both play secondary characters and i always love when 2nd leads become mains. so much potential! 🥰 i think they’d have good romantic chemistry but i guess we’ll have to wait for more updates to see if they have a love line too or not
