I agree so much with you! You really described the feelings of watching the passion sort of die out in this drama even though it totally started out strong. I think it could've even done better as a 20 episode drama than 50, because the story completely died even after the birth secret dragged itself to a halt. I kept on watching for the middle couple even though their dynamic somehow got watered down post-marriage, whereas it started out quite interesting.
Funnily enough while I was slowly growing tired of this drama, I decided to try Once Again since I've heard so much about it, and it for sure makes this drama look super one dimensional in comparison, especially watching both dramas at the same time and even going back and forth. With Once Again I don't feel the need to fast forward scenes because the dialogue is too forced and the actors have no natural chemistry, it's the opposite of It's Beautiful Now, in that regard. The acting and writing in OA just makes sense, the characters aren't being driven by the plot, they are the ones driving it. Whereas in IBN the characters towards the second half of the drama seem to lose all free will and decide to just be driven by how they should be, rather than behaving like human beings with their own individual thoughts and feelings.
This is so weird, but when looking at Aarif, I thought to myself, "He looks like a young Leon Lai," without knowing he had literally played a young Leon Lai before. Wth!
worth watching for the main couple! i can relate to the other commenters who said they skipped for the main couple, but in all of our defense they were super sweet and had nice chemistry. i'd rec watching for them if you are on the fence about it!

whether it’s true or not doesn’t matter. actors should be able to date freely without paparazzi hounding them or people on the internet scolding them. regardless of the rumors, i hope the drama does well. ❤️💫
