I was so ready to be disappointed by the 2nd episode but they keep the quality high, the plot still so strong and interesting. Beautiful cinematography and OOR filled the theme song?! Not to forget the amazing cast and their all out promotion, as expected from TBS!
This drama is so interesting! I was skeptical, thinking it's gonna be typical school drama like Gokusen, GTO...…
the 3LOOM definetely being put together intentionally lol this drama's director was one of Kimi Hana director! (Vivant and Anti-Hero as well, 3 of them has such a high rating)
Can anyone tell me how much of the anime/manga the drama covers? I see the sequel movie is called "Final Act",…
the drama covers the part where hikaru kamiki appeared in ai's grave. basically the dark ruby and cheerful aqua arc. but ended right after aqua realized the real truth. seems like the movie will take another route of ending.
you might want to finished the anime before watch the drama.
edit: i put this in case anyone asking the same question in future, as I consume both anime and manga then drama and now waiting for the movie lol
I usually hate the student-teacher trope but this one, I finished it in one night.
As weird and messy as it can be, with dozens of unrealistic scene and questioning plots that I'm not going to mention because it's too much, somehow it's bearable. Keep in mind that this is fiction, adapted from manga.
All of the cast are okay but Yamashita Coki really stood up and seems to be carrying the whole series. Ngl I would be really close to commit some crazy sht like the FL if someone like him teasing me so much lol.
The FL was the healthiest, most beautiful person I've ever seen. It was very hard for me to believe she had been…
I have same thoughts too, maybe because I put too much attention on small details and I myself experienced cardiac problem too... They are unrealisticly looks so healthy and lively lol there is no way in real life it could happened. The only thing that bothers me and downgrade the rating, I kinda hope they tackle this more neatly.
But this movie really aesthetically pleasing with good plot, so I forgive it. Its easily become my top comfort movie, already watched it twice haha
It's surprisingly good and enjoyable! Will be waiting each week for this drama 👌
I was afraid both leads can't represent the characters very well, this manga is really popular 😅 but so far so good imo, bonus: the opening is *chef kiss
At first I watched it for Fujigaya and Taiga, I thought it'll be cringy and boring... surprisingly the plot is interesting... I'll stick around until this drama ends 👌

At first I was hesitant about the age gap, but it turned out this drama plot revolve more around foods and the restaurant (well, for now)
And I can't help it, both of them are so lovely together, a green flag relationship despite the age gap.
