Problematically falling in love through thin air, still always there for each other

A lot has already been said, so rather than mentioning all those details again, this is my view on how I see the four protagonists. The entire series is divided into love between Payu- Rain and Prapai- Sky, as a Mame project it has objectionable content, if it is not your way, this needs to be skipped.

Overall the things I loved in the series-

I loved the plot and screenwriting, which brick by brick sets how the flawed characters actualize their mistakes and are responsibly out there to fix them for the ones they love. Payu is tough and in need of love, but becomes marvelously soft around a caring Rain who he always longed for. Rain searches for love and is irked by Payu but cannot help to see the efforts his senior puts now that he is so important to him. He acknowledges the way Payu points out the areas he needs to improve or how he praises him for hard work or sucks-in his own feelings just to make Rain focus on life goals. Payu worked hard a lot to be where he is, as a successful architect and a co- owner of a garage. He wants the same for Rain, least to see him work hard for himself. Payu becomes Rain’s inspiration, and the more they interact the more they fall, to an extent Rain spells it out clearly that he will never let go of this senior and the senior desires the same. As for Pai and Sky, Pai’s efforts in love was all Sky needed to regain his faith back in love, which eventually happens and both the couple are beautifully shown to believe in marriage and yearning to spend their lives together.

No doubt the production team’s effort to find the right cast hits off and they give their viewers the perfect pairing of actors. The sincerity in their chemistry is sky rocketing. The way Noel portrayed Rain shedding tear, scared to lose Payu or the way Boss outlines Payu looking into the eyes of Rain, happy that Rain never wants to let go off him or Fort as Pai, cuddling to convince Sky of his love is to the point or the way Pete as Sky breaks down in the arms of Pai crying that he really loves him.

Cinematography in here is everything, cannot get over the impressive aerial shot depicting trucks bringing Payu's work. The orange color of Payu and Rain lost in each other amongst all, or dominance of blue in background to match the coolness of blue in Payu’s clothing, or the brightness in background emphasizing Pai's strong character to the red hint of perplexed condition of a conflicted Sky are all so well-matched. Music is the next big thing, I could never skip the intro song, whether Thai or English every songs justifies the scene it has been inculcated into, whether Payu’s situation of keep your money I want your respect or the authority of the stylish racetrack.

Analyzing the characters-

Payu and Rain knowing each other:

On a stormy and rainy night, we see a stranger stop and help a person stuck with a flat tyre. Indeed helping a stranger out of the blue, Payu is someone good to his colleagues, helps around workers in his garage and there for his juniors back in his college, as the department still keeps him in charge, given his outstanding meritorious records. The one in need of help is Rain, stepping out of the coziness of his car, he shelters Payu from the downpour, making storm fall for the simplest gentleness of rain.

Payu all rich, handsome and playful is the salt and pepper case of unhappy lonely individual; he is looking for someone to fall for him seriously above his richness and looks, but gets none. When he comes to know that Rain is within his knowing, he strikes out a plan to know him more, though this plan of his is improper to me. Rain does look at Payu and my god the way he looks, holds onto Payu's hand asking for help and agrees to come to Payu's home, maybe he should have once requested the senior to drop him at his home; anyways, this attention is put into question by Payu. As we see around or in other depictions; the sudden mutual attraction meaning mere causality, which how to be taken further or dropped is left between the two.

Payu’s handsome face makes Rain’s struggle harder but he strongly denies. Payu lets him go, saying he is also not in the mood anymore, but somewhere he gets that Rain is not playing hard to get and his no is indeed a firm no. Payu acts tough asking Rain to stay back given the bad weather, hence, we get to see a side of Payu who also knows what a no means and Rains spends the night at Payu’s home without advantage taken. Instead, when Rain hugs him, lying by his side falling to sleep, Payu is seen happy that Rain is unlike others and could be the one to meet his expectation of serious relationship, revealing he may really like him.

Payu knows his limits and the turning point in their relationship:

He follows Rain to college and confronts him getting close in a way which again should have been avoided. Rain is taken away by his aura, looks and virtues from the beginning and we see him succumb to Payu's touches holding onto his cloth and away even when Payu stops. Here if you watch, you will see, Rain gets away in Payu’s touching to an extent he shares something getting up to his friend Sky. And again we see Payu stopping without taking it further even if Rain gets carried away. Rain stays back henceforth at times and at none interval Payu takes advantage. On the contrary we see interactions between them where Payu cooks him breakfast, drops him home or takes him out for dinner. With these growing interactions, Rain chooses Payu to heal his disturbed mind as his assignment gets rejected and yes Payu comes running to hold him in his arms and hear him as he cries. To me this was the turning point in their relationship, where Payu proves that amidst his teasing, his liking for Rain is also true words.

Changing for love, Rain is important to Payu more than anything:

When Payu is someone who understands a no and stops without taking the situation further, then why the need to approach Rain in a manner where he becomes uncomfortable? This is where even Payu understands that Rain is actually quite immature and not ready for a serious commitment. I wouldn’t coin Rain’s coming to Payu as a sheer gesture of stalking, although it initiated for the purpose of a bet to win over Payu. Rain eventually intends to see Payu and spend time with him, which Payu readily digs in, as it broadens their chances of getting close. But all of this hampers Rain’s concentration in studies, and here is where Payu proves his sincerity for Rain. He decides to stay away from him, until Rain understands the gravity to equate things and becomes dependable. This sacrifice to mar his own feelings for the good of Rain is what hits Rain as well, he works his days and nights off just to see the face of Payu and make him actualize he is worthy of staying by Payu’s side.

Payu and Rain falling in love, their equation as a couple:

Rain is immature but not meek, he always stood firm against Payu’s advances where he had too, made out willingly when he wanted to and threw punches if felt wronged. Their love making NC scenes are a lot more than just making out; they keep talking and looking into each other, totally in sync with each other’s feelings. Rain knows the areas where Payu didn’t take advantage or stopped himself, and we see him stay over at his place or come to him again and again. He doesn’t trust words of Payu alone; he takes his time to determine his own and as well as Payu's feelings. It is only when Payu proves his worth enough by being there for him to the extent Payu aloof himself for Rain’s sake that Rain slowly questions his own feelings. We also see Payu caring for Rain in many ways, he protects him the best he can, of course even if that means he risks his own life or bow down. He sings out how lucky he feels to have met Rain and have him in his life, he takes him out for a movie on that sport bike of his and they both have Korean lunch. He is always there guiding him to do better in his studies, even if it means he has to stay awake helping Rain in his assignments. Payu has lots of people wanting him, and yes he only wants Rain.

Prapai turning his world upside down for Sky:

As for Prapai and Sky, even though one episode left, I still wouldn’t judge it on a whole because I haven’t seen the entirety of them. So in a gist, Prapai is the rich and handsome guy again who longs for true love but gets none. Once more I have objection to how Pai approaches Sky. Even though Sky agrees to Pai's proposal, hence if casualty is Sky’s choice I am no one to judge, else with what mindset Sky agrees to Pai's wishful thinking is something wondering to me. We see the same lifestyle for Pai, where no relationship to commit he is fine with no strings attached, and again it’s his life. What I doubt on is what would happen if Sky said no? Which started off as casual feelings to be ended, but Pai demanding love to see him above his face and money, cannot help but fall for humble Sky. He makes his way to Sky, which Sky initially evades but finds impossible to fall for the charms and efforts of Pai. His persistence to prove he wants it serious with Sky makes him take rounds of travels to deliver food or to take care of sick Sky. Hence, persistence for good is also appreciative where if he loves he will prove fits in the story, and we see Sky demanding in self that Pai likes only him and never leaves him.

For those who prefer green flag stories, to remind them here the characters are flawed just like other series going around in fictional entertainment. So controversies not your type, this is a no-go. Else, the character development and simple yet intriguing plot is a must watch and re-watchable at any time for a break away from busy world.
