Tbh Iām confused too⦠like what are we supposed to take from this? That the only āreliefā from domestic abuse is killing the abuser? I get that in the story it symbolizes finally breaking free, and yes, it shows how desperate and trapped a victim can feel⦠but itās heartbreaking if the message ends there. I really hope the drama is trying to show the severity of abuse, not suggest that this is the only hope left for someone suffering. Itās powerful, but also so painful to think about. In this society we live in, itās full of corruption, the kind that protects abusers and silences victims. Thatās why the drama feels so heavy. It shows how, when every system fails you, people start believing extreme choices are the only way out. Itās painful, but itās also a reminder of how broken things are, and how desperately we need a world where victims donāt have to reach that point just to survive
Was waiting for it to air as I'm a big fan of pondphuwin hehe but honestly speaking I'm having such a good time with it! Itās absolutely chaotic in the best way, totally aware of how dramatic it is, but somehow never crosses into cringe for me. It feels like a fun little wink at classic lakorns while still being cute on its own. And seriously, Pond carrying the lead role makes such a difference if it was anyone else the whole thing wouldāve felt messy instead of hilarious.
I saw him first in Dear. M though he just had a supporting role i really liked him and his acting then in heesu in class2 and then as second male lead in Crushology 101 and now as the main male lead it's so beautiful to see him grow like this. Hopefully he keeps on getting good roles and becomes successful <3
