What an episode! The chemistry is off the charts, and the acting is so good that I forget they're both red flags. The way Dean is always trying to 'finish it' (using his own words) is kinda irritating, imo. They can't even go on a date without arguing and fighting, let alone 'finish it'. Also, what happens after that? Back to fighting?
Their acting and chemistry, and the fact that it's not boring, are why I am still watching this. Every Saturday, I find myself waiting for next Saturday. It's interesting!!

I am still bothered that Dean didn't properly apologise for what he said to Moth in the exhibition. It's gonna be such a mess when they realise each other's intentions. Man, they're playing each other so well. The acting too, the way they are faking their feelings. Also, Dean wearing red and Moth wearing green in that bar scene was ironic.

I think so too. She liked him; he rejected her. Now, he is chasing her. That's what I heard. We'll see when it drops.

He did a wonderful job in Perfect Match and Amidst a Snowstorm of Love. Absolutely loved his characters in both of them. But Duke Su is unforgettable!!

I have nothing against romance. I never said that. For context, I have just started ep 16, and NOW I see the potential for romance.
I was confused about the focus on rom & chem because so far I don't see how the MLs have time for romance in between this chaos. Heinous crimes and cases were going on around them.

FL can be happier without ML, but then the show is made like he is always there for her, this was fate, kinda thing, so.... let's see.

Personally, plotting is plotting for me. I love a good political intrigue that can keep me interested. Hope you find what you like too :)

And yes, I see the 'romance' genre. But I am specifically talking about the 'plot'. She escaped from child traffickers after years of abuse. She wants revenge. He is ruling a country that's not under his control. He is trying to make the citizens' lives better. Then they meet amidst all the chaos. They both want to bring justice. They are using each other. So, in between all this, in my opinion, it would be weird to have romance. Still, we got glimpses of how they feel about each other. And yes, now that what happened in ep 15 has happened, we can see a blossoming romance.

Why is everyone focusing on romance and chemistry!!??? The plot, guys! THE PLOT!!! THEIR ACTING!! (+ the OSTs too)

I have completed ep15 (my fav ep so far hehe), and till now there is no romance. Ofc, there are "romantic" scenes and instances where we feel like they are catching feelings, BUT that's not the point in this plot. There are more important things happening (it's a political intrigue drama). So I don't think it will be very spicy.
From the look of it, this is gonna be like The Double or The Glory, I think. We know they like each other, but the plot's focus is more on the non-romantic part.

The plot is very gripping. Personally, even though it's a political intrigue with so many conspiracies and cases (which require so much world-building and backstory), this was so captivating. Like, it's not just storytelling throughout, and all the actors are doing an amazing job. But still, you have to put effort into listening carefully and remembering the details.

P.S.: Since I am not even halfway through the drama, there is a chance that what I said might differ from the later half of it. So nothing is guaranteed 😊
