I am LOVING this!! Dai is really matched well here! I adore this actress. She's adorable and sexy at the same time. She's very emotive too just like Chen Fang Tong. It matches Dai Gao Zheng to a tee being a very passionate and emotive actor himself. I have never seen the Thai version of this series (lots of ppl have mentioned this in the comments) but I am really liking this so far. It may end up being one of my Dai-favourites (outside of the 3 DaiChen series).

Yes, you're right! Good pick up! It's 24eps but runs 45mins each so screen time is longer! I didn't even realise. I don't think I have ever seen that one :)

Wow! I didn't realise this was 56 episodes long even though it's 18 minutes each. Is that correct? This will be Fan Zhi Xin's longest drama yet! I hope it can beat My Lethal Man because that's my favourite one with him in it but that was two years ago and none of his other series have been as good. Here's hoping this one is just as good or better yet -- even better. 🤞❤🔥

I was only able to watch the first episode and Dai looks GREAT in this series!! I also don't think I have EVER seen him wear glasses before 👨‍🏫! He looks spec-tacular 😍🔥!! Love the closing track too. 🎵❤

Ep.19 : This is just an excellent mini all-round. I am enjoying this so much! I haven't finished it yet but I LOVE a well executed plotline that's not too convoluted. For me just watching Chen Fang Tong and Yan Zi Xian is enough (I will watch ANYTHING with these two) but the fact the side characters are ALSO great, background music is great, the villians are great, the visuals and food is also great!! -- it's just a BIG bonus for me. For an Asian mini this has great production value. Please let this continue till the end 🙏❤

I was able to watch episode 17 today. WOW, Mingzhu really is evil. I never thought I would miss the 2nd Madam!! I kinda like that Mingzhu goes to that extreme, though. It plays well on the screen. The actress plays evil really well!! I knew she would try to pin it on the FL so I have to grit my teeth for the next few episodes. I did enjoy this episode I thought it was executed well. The only thing I wish for is more skinship between our two leads. They're just so good at it!🤭

Chen Fang Tong is an award winning actress. She is known as the Mini Queen. The two leads here are known as Mini Royalty. Extremely popular and the best in Chinese mini drama.

Ep. 29. When he finally realises they're his kids!! 😭😭😭. Also that kiss between Chen and Dai!! When he bends her over the boat railing!! 🔥🥵🔥. They never fail to light the screen on FIRE!! I love them SO MUCH!! I am also watching Culinary Vendetta at the moment and I was just watching an episode where Yan Zi Xian bends Chen Fang Tong over a table to kiss her!! This girl must have a back of steel the amount of times she gets bent backwards by these guys!!! 🤭🤭🔥🥰

Most definitely. She almost fades away in those 'goody two shoes' roles. It's what I like to call 'weak tea' performances 🤭. She is definitely much more dynamic in this!! I love her slight manic stare! She seems so fragile at times BUT at the same moment you can see a viper about to strike. That's what I got in the first episode, anyway. I loved it 😊

I thought this might be a duplicate of The Double or Kill Me Love Me. I loved both of those dramas and really wasn't interested in a 3rd installment of the same plotline but I started watching the first episode and got sucked in (of course!!). I love a good dark thriller. I'm usually not a fan of this FL. I have always found her acting bland.......but she is GREAT in this. I am only at the 1st episode and I already like someone I thought I never would so I am intrigued!! Also everyone is going on about this ML and I haven't had a chance to REALLY see him yet so I will definitely keep watching 😊.

I am struggling to finish this. The only thing that's keeping me going is Dai. I always try to finish anything with him in it but it's tough. It's a pity because I think this series could have been really good! The performances by the 3 main leads are good. Guan Yue the 2nd ML is a very versatile actor. I think I'll have to watch some of his other stuff b/c he seems good. Hu Yi Yao is curvaceous with a unique look (that I love!) but her role is a very generic one for a female actress. I wish she was given a better script! The plot execution is just too messy to hold my attention. Watching the rest of the series sped up.

I am only up to episode 15 at the moment and because the plot is executed so well I absolutely adore it!! So far I think the villians are doing a great job. I haven't finished it yet so I hope I don't find them annoying later on. I would like to see the leads a little more (they are my FAVOURITE!!) but the 2nd lead characters are doing so well & the storyline is so interesting it's actually not bothering me that much. I especially like the First Madam (Junyao's mum) and the 2nd FL, Ming Zhu, she is so feisty & sinister all hidden beneath a calm exterior (I love her - very sexy!). That's how I feel for now but I may come back a few days later and rant to you about how I hate everyone....🤭😊❤

The leads are very good! They carry this series well. These two are great with spicy scenes!! I don't know them very well and among the less well known mini actors they are excellent!! Even though this production is low budget you can see they did the very best with what they had. Even with AI generated subtitles this was a lot of fun to watch. If this series was given the attention it deserved it could have been great. I am still watching and I am still very much hooked to our main leads, their acting and the storyline!! ❤
