A very unorthodox plot. What genre does this drama exactly fall into? I don't know. It consists of mystery, romance, comedy(?), time-travel and supernatural. I enjoyed watching the plot but a more mind-blowing ending would have made the drama better in my opinion. It was all good until the ending which was a bit bland and predictable. The drama had a good start and a good idea, the romance and chemistry between the main leads was so-so but cute nonetheless. If you are looking for something new and exciting but still romantic? You have found the perfect 2017 drama right here.

One of the best kdramas I have watched and of course the best out of thriller/drama/crime/action kdramas I have ever watched. As of yet, no other can compare to this one. It has a good amount of plot twists and unexpected scenes. All the gore is blurred out which I thought was very considerate for those wishing to watch a thrilling, psychological, crime-solving drama without having to look away every so often. I feel like this drama also promotes girls in the work that is conventionally for guys, for example, an information specialist as well as being a pro hacker and a bad-ass fighter; which is of course, awesome. I don't normally comment on the bgm but the bgm in this drama suited the scenes very well and made creepy scenes scarier and action scenes more thrilling. The cast was top notch, no arguing with that. Overall, a very smart and brilliant drama.

A man with breast-cancer? I bet you only heard it once or twice in your lifetime. Yes, it is uncommon but it doesn't make the illness any less threatening. When I told my friends about the plot of this drama, cancer, they were all laughing and saying "What a typical drama plot." But it's not only a romantic drama between a woman and her cancered-lover. It's a realistic drama about achieving one's dream, family, one's dignity and of course, awareness to breast cancer in males.

Na-ri's dream of becoming a news anchor constantly bashed by opinions on her age, lack of experience and connection to the higher ups. The development in Hwa-shin's character, his refusal to accept his breast cancer due to his man's dignity. Two mothers love for one child and their competition for her love in return.

Overall, it was a drama that made me cry. The acting was excellent. In my opinion these dramas are better than those viral dramas like DOTS or Goblin, just a personal preference.

Two dramas in one year about DID. In my opinion this drama is the better one of the two that came out despite having totally different plots. This drama just has a better cast with very good acting skills. Ji-sung who portrayed Cha Do-hyun, a DID patient, did a marvelous job in terms of playing 7 totally different personalities, each having a different voice, gesture, clothing, accent, gender and so on. I personally don't think it is very easy to just fit into a skin that is clearly not suitable for his age, for example becoming a 7 year old girl. However, he became a 7 year old girl and despite knowing this is just a drama, I felt as if it was a young girl in a man's skin which was both weird and amazing. This drama made me really interested in this rare mental disorder and I had to research about it to get the full gist of it. It is both very interesting and scary, the fact that a whole new and different personality can live inside you without knowing about it.

Since this drama is a remake of its Chinese cousin, I had high hopes before watching this drama. It took me a year of starting and putting it on hold to finally finish this. I must say, I liked the main cast better than the Chinese version because IU! and JOONGI! However, because of the many model-turned actors and idol-turned actor, Baekhyun, the acting was a bit sloppy and somewhat fake at times to be honest. No shades here, for Baekhyun to act this way for the first time is very good for an idol but sometimes I feel like he's over-acting for the sake of it (I do look forward his future works as an actor and see how he grows). The romance between the main characters and each character's development throughout the drama, from main to support, is what kept me watching the whole thing.

I do like a drama that has a good plot and good acting? But I guess this one only has a good plot, for a drama that has been remade. The ending though? I wanted to kill myself but sadly NO SPOILERS.

Idol-turned actress, Bang Min-ah has honestly surprised me with how well she acts. In my opinion, her acting was better than Nam-goong. The plot was intense with a bit of mystery and not as much romance as I would have thought. Min-ah has honestly ditched her idol looks and opted for a bowl cut to fit into her role which I thought was really cute. Her character was relatable to many younger siblings in the sense that she was the shadow to her beautiful sister. Jobless and without much looks but quipped with kindness that melted the two male's hearts, in my pessimistic opinion a bit unrealistic but you know, kdrama magic. I did cry a few times at places where I empathised with Min-ah's character and felt sorry for her.

If you're looking for a typical kdrama with a predictable plot then watch this drama. However, I can recommend you a bunch more drama with a better romantic plot? Overall, the drama left me with a mind that I should be a better person to others like how every heartwarming-happy-ending (does this count as spoiler?) kdramas always do to me.

AOY is a very realistic portrayal of youthful, 20s life. Realistic in the fact that it doesn't try to hide ugly truths as you will see for yourself when you watch this drama. Personally, the problems that each of the characters face are very relatable: first love or even finding a romance that's right for you, poverty, self-confidence, self-value and so on. It is a drama that will make you cry, spoiler alert. I, myself, shed plenty of fat teardrops. It's a drama with a very dramatic plot and very intense because what could have been a 24 episodes long drama is squashed into 12 episodes of comedy, romance, heartbreak and sibling-like love between friends. You will miss out on a lot if you don't watch this drama honestly.
