The comments keep saying that the plot doesn't make sense... Me myself here understand that argument as I watch the first ep and they added that 'after credit' things...
I thought, "It'll probably has this moments a lot... that it might make us lost the flow of the story" as it might seems a little choppy...
I haven't watch the remaining episode thinking that I'll probably binge watch it when it's complete as the plot might not 'really well arranged' - might be a new style to make audience stay engaged and watch till the end of the episode... (I'm not really familiar with broadcasting trend so... I prefer keep my mind open for something new) -
I've read the novel... the Thai version (even though I need to depend a lot on the English version -not that fluent in Thai, that's why) I found that the plot was pretty 'subtle' as it focus on the development of the leads relationship, reconstructing the business, and operating it... pretty much 'daily activity' that I believe couple might do in real life... not too much drama and stuff... yes we have the conflict... but no need for it to be THAT big... The flow of the story was good and pretty light (I admit I take times reading that short novel as it feels a bit 'boring' -it takes like 4?5? days of me reading 1 ebook when I am used to read 3 season of book in a day)
[THIS IS JUST MY OPINION BASED ON THE NOVEL - I haven't watch the series YET] What makes this different from other BLs... to me... how fast the relationship developed... 1. As you know, both find one another really attractive since the Day 1... (the flirting has begin since then) || I love that... certain people might be more of that type... 2. As casual as their relationships are... they have their own trauma (I don't know about Intha's character as they don't give that explanation about his ex in ep 1 -should've been there during shabu scene-) when Eung takes his time and being extra hesitant to enter a new relationship... Intha on the other hand take Eung's personality the way it is and he loved it [he'd be soooooo downbad I believe... looking forward to that moment] 3. Well,,, they are going to be a business partner (first thing first... we really need to seperate work with private lives),,, they indeed keep it professional but wasn't fully described as well in the novel (practically the moments were, buying furniture for the new bar, buying groceries to stock up, drafting the contract, meeting the designer, construction process, opening ceremony, and operating business... besides that, it focus on the relationship development between them -I remember they had soooo many songs in the book) so,,, if you're going to dive into the entire business or investing field with romance... this is not your watch... 4. Another things that made the relationships developed fast is probably the uneasiness of both sides (I suppose)... well, I've seen several scenes and they're always goofy, dorky, and all those in that... I believe they're trying to hide their fear behind all those moments... I really hope there's a moment where they had a sincere deep talk tho... 5. Last thing that I feel when I read the novel is that the past relationships made their current relationship goes stronger tho... And I am loving it... <3
Here's my conclusion so far... I think the series is looking pretty good tho... (I am pretty much biased soo... )
Really look forward to watch this series later when it's complete^^
Went looking for Your Shy and Your Sky of Us to recommend it to someone and neither are on iQIYI anymore. I see…
It’s still in my iQIYI tho..? Both… what I didn’t see there was Ai Long Nhai… not sure why it’s gone… and Battle of The Writers… planning to rewatch those and end up rewatching Your Sky instead…?
I just rewatched this after a couple of years and I enjoyed it even more this time. It's not mentioned in the…
Agreed~~
It’s probably not really common type of series back then (in 2023) that’s why it didn’t really get the attention they deserve but as the series style and entertainment around has been more diverse… it makes this looks quite plausible and I feel a bit relatable with Jade character especially… there’re some moments where we just feel like act a bit ‘over or extra’…
This is certainly not everyone's cup of tea. Personally, I love it. It's clear what they insinuate without throwing…
I am having the same opinion as I will wait till July to watch the entire show… so far I’m very tempted to watch this because of all the clips spread in social media… lord… I’m being impatient…
And currently I don’t really have a show that I wanna watch so… 😫😫😫
Censorship… and they’re trying to tone it down… might be the reason… but… if all the nastiness are accompanied…
Well,,, I believe every country has their censorship regulations that’s why I said so… and I believe the targeted market might be ‘wide’ so… they’re trying to play it safe…
This has no rhyme or reason, but I kinda feel like that was the vibe they intended. I want to know the significance…
Just the fact they share the name universe as Tonhon Chonlatee and Ai Long Nhai… and the original writer being the same person for each book… not sure why the name is that tho…
It's so weird that they don't go all the way with the NCs/kisses even more so when the show's lines contain the…
Censorship… and they’re trying to tone it down… might be the reason… but… if all the nastiness are accompanied with visual trigger… I don’t think it’ll be as satisfying as how it is now tho…
The current situation is pretty intriguing tho… (I am imagining things… I believe some does too… 🤣🤣)
is this one good ?? i like tutoryim and i see ma babygurl ohm so i kinda want to watch it but this being a copy…
I see varies respond regarding it but… me personally would like to watch this after its completed tho… 🥰🥰 what I can say is… you will love the cinematography and the color grading…
I really want this to release real soon but looking at the actors… MaxNat with their Your Third shooting, TutorYim…
But to think that Phi Aoftion is the director… I suppose they’ll start soon as he finished with Love Upon a Time… just gotta manage the schedule of the cast… hopefully it’ll air soon… (I bet won’t be in this year???) 🤣🤣🤣
