yes why do u think shows that are so universally loved like the eight sense and semantic error only have a 8.1 and 8.2 ? at one point fans were just spamming 4's and 5's to lower ratings so that the Thai BLs would be the highest.. and it works because the gmmtv core fans and thai fans are way more than ppl who are just fans of good shows.

are we actually gonna hit a 9.0 ? wow this is universal PRAISE !!! if MDL play games and it randomly drops to 8.5 over the weekend.. I'm gonna look at y'all suspicious because a certain fanbase been downvoting KBLs for the past 2 years I've been on here without even watching the show.

don't let the Thai BL fans see this.. they been notorious for years for downvoting KBLs on here.. a certain section of the GMMTV fanbase did that a lot with Semantic Error/Blueming/The Eight Sense to ensure their shows have 8.5 like Bad Buddy/My School President etc while the biggest KBLs were lower.

I love how they even tied in the mother plot and why he was so shook to see her in the date episode .. cause he had already been rejected TWICE by her.. it's so clear the writers worked really hard to make the plot interesting and I appreciated that so much compared to the basic plots we have these days.

agreed.. .I love that they didn't make Sang Won a bad person... I think this show has so much potential for a season 2... give us more Sang Won and the oversees boyfriend plot as well

In the end it wasn't actually even a game... I love how KBLs write their shows... it sets them apart from everyone else. this continuously astounds me.

Myung Ha went into a depression after his grandmother died and his girlfriend broke up with him. After all this he went to his mother who abandoned him and she pretended like she didn't know him... and she also had a new son. He ended up committing suicide because of this. The ''game'' world is actually some sort of purgatory/after life where he was given a second chance to be happy... at least that was my interpretation of it. also the guy who was his ''senior'' was mostly like a grim reaper or an angel possibly.

when I tell you the PLOT was PLOTTING... confused why so much ppl didn't understand what happened in the finale.. I think a lot of ppl are more accustom to BLs that tell direct stories instead of shows that deliver scenes in nuanced ways that makes u think.

for those who was confused on the finale... this is my take below

I think KBLs are notorious for leaving stuff up to the imagination and allowing viewers to take what the want from a show

the final 5 mins of episode 7 and the falling scene gave me CHILLS

same overall I like the eight sense more.. but I feel like I can go back and watch love for love's sake more cause there are more cute ''bl'' type scenes... the eight sense feels more on the lgbtq coming of age side and has a darker tone.

I honestly thought nothing could ever knock the Eight Sense from the top of my KBL list but this does it.. simply because it has a lot more cute carefree moments and isn't as dark in the first half. the acting from the lead actor is so spell bounding I can't understand how he isn't more famous.

the acting from Tae Vin in the last 2 episodes need to be applauded.. I hope he gets all the awards possible for this

Give me a Sang Won spinoff please... I connected to him so much in this series.

With all 8 episodes now completed... I want to highlight this masterpiece properly. The ensemble cast really delivered. I want to particularly give praise to the stellar acting of Lee Tae Vin in the final two episodes.. he truly carried the episodes on his back and delivered the emotion needed to take this show through to its finale. Cha Joo Wan was fantastic as the love interest of the male lead. his eyes tell it all and he conveyed his emotions really well. His lines will resonate with me forever such as : you're my first everything.... I can do better with practice. A scene stealer for me though was easily Oh Min Su who portrayed Chun Sang Won and his characters opening to his own queer identity was so refreshing and he delivered some really iconic lines in the show such as '' You are so frustrating... until now I only dated girls '' ''so what If I'm gay ''

8.8 rating for a Korean BL is so surprising and amazing.. it's also approaching 10,000 watchers which is impressive.
Korean BLs are usually harshly rated on this site compared to Thai BLs

no shade but the ppl who don't understand the edits/cuts and the fact that they are in a game world that's malfunctioning and everything is meant to be chaotic are the ones who are just accustom to basic BL plots with the same exact storyline... the minute u guys have to think a bit... y'all confused lol
