This is ACTING.. this is CINEMATOGRAPHY. this is chemistry without PUSHING it in our face.. it's subtle. it's unspoken. I grew up watching shows like skam and skins and despite me loving the fluff of Thai BL's... I love gritty lgbtq stories and I believe shows like this will open the door and kick it wide open for more Asian countries to do more lgbtq esque shows like this and what 180 degree longitude did a while ago as well. how are these actors ACTING without even speaking...they don't even need dialogue and it's so powerful between them that they don't even need words.Was this review helpful to you?
Went from a 10 to a 8 ( Time skips ruined it )
everything about this show is so good.. it's my favorite show of 2022 and all the 3 couples are sooo good but Dome and Vee have stolen my heart.. I love them so much ... the connection they share without barely ever speaking is so powerful.. they cinematography of the show reminds me in part to I Told Sunset About You. I really hope more people catch on to this and see the gem of a show this is.. cause it's so stunning and timeless. I don't endorse cheating plots but something about Dome and Vee I can't stop speaking about them enough. I look forward to seeing their journey for the rest of the season.Update : the time skips ruined the show.... dome and vee got significantly less screen time in the second half of the series and it went downhill from there.

Addicted Remake Done Right
Acting is really good from these two young actors 10/10. plot is pretty much the same as addicted but feels a bit more stretched out and we see the backstories of the characters a lot more. The pacing tbh seems much better this time around. it's getting better with every episode... wow the nostalgia.. Addicted was my first BL ever and I feel like I'm finally getting an updated complete story with lots more clean camera work and dialogue. whether this is BL or bromance I love the story and I'll keep watching.Was this review helpful to you?
The Best Japanese BL EVER
The funny thing to me is.... I started off liking Kieta Hatsukoi more... and I just thought My Beautiful Man first episode was JUST OK... but in the end I liked My Beautiful slightly more than I did Kieta.. both shows are beautiful but the story build up in My Beautiful Man was just perfection.The acting performance from the two leads were so stellar and gripping. The show builds episode by episode and it leaves u on the edge of your seat... This is definitely the best Japanese BL I've ever seen and definitely top 10 among all time BL's for me. I highly recommend this to anyone who loves boy love content.

THE BEST GMMTV BL OF 2022 - Not ME's Brother
Doing this review to highlight this cast and IMO the cast is full of actors who have not been fully utilized by GMMTV properly and I'm happy to see them all together here. This show was very promising led by a fantastic performance by Khao.From Khao to First to Neo to Louis to AJ and even Pawin I must say this is a really strong cast of actors IMO who should have been far more lauded more for their performances. This is also a mini reunion for the Cause You're My Boy cast with Neo/Khao and AJ.
Another Classic BL to add to the collection. this was so well done and the finale episode was so powerful. the emphasis on the first part of the episode about not calling being gay abnormal and emphasising that loving some of the same sex is normal and should be the norm.. we should not have to COME OUT. loving a man or loving a woman should be the NORM. props to the entire cast on this.
The Eclipse joins Bad Buddy and Not Me as GMMTV's best BL shows released in the past 2 years. this was such a breath of fresh air and was truly a masterpiece.

KOREAN BL DOMINATING 2022 !!
This show was perfection and the cinematography and chemistry of the actors were top tier. The chemistry between the two leads is breath taking... the kisses are intimate... this deals with so much like depression, knowing your worth and the struggles to be considered ''beautiful'' by societies standards.. I connected with this show so much.The people complaining about this show dropping all episodes at once and saying it will effect it's popularity is so ridiculous.. tell that to every netflix show that all episodes are released at once.. if a show is good enough it will eventually build... YOUNG ROYALS premiered with ZERO fanfare or noise or promotion... and it gained a rabid fanbase in months. so what you're saying is if they put the 11 episodes into a movie format and ppl could watch it in one sitting it would take away from the show being successful ? I don't agree with that.. I watched it in one sitting and actually enjoyed this rather than watching one episode per week.

A stunning comeback from the GreyRainbow Pairing
I must say this show was STUNNING... I am so impressed with the ending.. it wasn't fairytale. it was so realistic.. a doctor and a reaper could never really be together.. the doctor grew old but the reaper stayed with him all the way till he died... and 20 years later he was reborn and the reaper met him again..this show was so good.. this did for me what miracle of the teddy bear couldn't. I'm in my feelings. I would recommend this to everyone.. . 10/10 for me...first BL series of this year that has me emotional on the verge of tears.. it's soooo goood. the acting is spot on, the music is amazing and the storyline is so good and relatable.. this reminds me a lot of until we meet again and it's not surprising cause it's the same company doing this series... I hope more people tune into this cause it's very good and well worth it.. the story is captivating and it strikes and emotional nerve in you. Nut and Karn's chemistry together is really good in this.. much better than how they were in Grey Rainbow.. it's taking really long to get to the intimacy part of this BL though and that's my only complain

A show where NOTHING HAPPENED
This show is over and I feel like nothing happened and my life is still the same.... BL's are feeling empty now that there are a lot more substantial shows with better plots.. fluff BL's are no longer working and this is proof of that.I feel like Bad Buddy has delivered so amazingly well any shows that are following it on GMMTV are just paling in comparison. I just don't feel the chemistry between these two. I love Mek so I am looking forward to Sky in your Heart. Save yourself the cringe and don't watch this.. I regretted it and GMMTV keeps focusing on quantity rather than quality.

Korea Rules BL in 2022.
I watched the final episode today and Semantic Error was flawless.. I'll say it.. I did not find not one flaw with it.. It was a perfect BL... the storyline.. the acting.. the chemistry.. the music.. everything worked.. I must say Korea is GIVING me life at the moment and they are definitely leading the way in 2022 for me when it comes to BL . Everything about this show GRIPPED me and kept me hanging on. I love the inclusion of technology in the show... and how they played into the errors and stuff.. it was soooooooo goooddddddddddWas this review helpful to you?

Don't Mess with perfection
Some shows don't need a season 2 and doing one destroys the memory of season 1... this is true of Check Out and To My Star 2.. the plot was interesting if he had a good reason for protecting him so he left for a year.. I even thought we were getting a mental health plot but we didn't get that either. This is so confusing to me.. it feels like they just used the missing for a year as a plot for effect but the reason he went missing didn't even make sense and it feels like it was a just a device to create unnecessary conflict.Was this review helpful to you?
OK !! JUST OK
I watched this show cause I was a really big fan of Jang Eui Soo and his performance in where your eyes linger... I prefer him with the shorter hair btw... but this show just left me feeling nothing to be honest... it was OK.. just OK ... and come on we are in 2021... if you guys are doing BL's still with just hugs and hand holding.... we need to find actors who really want to do BL roles and be intimate.... the US/British LGBT industry I've never seen the amount of hugs and pat heads in romances EVER that I have seen since watching Asian BL... maybe it's a custom thing or just the actors not willing to go into the deep end but once again the show was OK.. a hot steam of NOTHING
This has been the most complicated show I've ever watched in the BL world.. I started off hating Enchante... then with 4 episodes left I fell in love with Theo and Akk's chemistry.. but boy oh boy.. was Theo meant to be likeable ? because to me he came off selfish and narcissistic. From him literally catfishing Theo and pretending that other people were interested in him just to get Akk's attention.. it all got a bit much for me. I felt like Akk deserved so much better.. this show was a 7/10 for me.. Force and Book's chemistry saved it from being a train wreck.Was this review helpful to you?
Best Thai BL of 2023
I'm late to this show because I'm not a fan of historical dramas.... but let me tell you this... I was bored during the holidays so I decided to finally give it a go after seeing so many people talking about it.. Nonkul and Bright delivers masterful performances and the supporting cast really impressed me.. I am engulfed by how good this show is and I hope more quality content like this comes out of Thailand.. I do think this was a weak year in BL for Thailand... but this show has given me hope and it is now easily in my top 10 all time BLs.. I love shows that deal with social issues head on and the premise of this show felt so fresh and exciting for the genre.Was this review helpful to you?
The most heartwarming BL I have ever seen
To be honest, Kieta Hatsukoi is currently blowing my mind as a BL.. there's just something so refreshing and beautiful about it... every aoki scene makes me smile... the show isn't even over yet and the innocence and magic of the acting has made this my favorite BL ever... I don't even need them to kiss at this point.. that's how good they are. Also, The music is TOP TIER !! I will recommend this to any BL lover.. this Blows any BL from any other country out of the water... if you loved cherry magic.. you will love this show.Was this review helpful to you?
One of the best
Fantastic ... one of the best series I've ever seen.. My only issue is that how could Nubsib remember Gene but Gene not remember him at all.. does Gene has amnesia or something cause he couldn't even remember Tum who he went to university with and that was also very confusing to me lol. Nubsib was younger but remembered Gene but Gene was older and can't remember him ? make it make sense please . All in all I'm pleasantly surprised at how good it is and it really needs to get a lot more success cause it's deserving of it. BravoWas this review helpful to you?
