I saw Wen Rang in another drama The Love you give me and decided to rewatch this. Both are sweet dramas which I recommend. The actor was much better in the other drama though.

Yeah you're not remembering it right. The mom completely destroyed the ML health in the Chinese version.

Yeah, the Chinese version came across as more evil while the Korean version comes across as more of a narcissist personality disorder that can't be cured. It's subtle but both are awful.

Yes it's at least half as good. This is from somebody who thinks that go ahead is the best Chinese drama ever.

I like the title of this drama. Family by choice. It's simple, memorable and to the point. 👍

It does get better but the romance is not the strongest part of the drama

I enjoyed it but its far from seamless. It's pretty much incomprehensible but I watshed all of it for the fine featured beauty of the babyfaced ML

I just start it yesterday and I am on episode 15. It's very sad and I like it but some of the brain dead moments is going to prevent it from being in my top 10

My tolerance for dreck is high but this was deeply problematic. Obviously existing in the post fifty shades of Gray era. It's just everything that's terrible with the Wattpad and manga mentality.
