You find out that the real male protagonist is nam from 1998, not yeon jun. Nam's soul inhabits yeon jun's when the real yeon jun forst dies.

The gay person was keon jun before he died the first time. The Korean version is still more gay positive than the original version tho.

I haven't really gotten to that part yet which is episode 8 but my understanding is that one of the main characters was gay and rowoon is the BF? It should be a brief cameo because it's not a major storyline

This is hard to explain. One of the main characters was gay but he died. His body was then inhabited by a different soul who is not gay.

I took a sneak peek at it. I watched the original version 2 weeks ago. I think people going to argue about it. I think it's slightly better but it's basically a cross between the original ending and the extra scene.

Depending on the yr the ending is set in, it doesn't sound too horrible. The tone is about what I would expect from this story. 🤷

Yeah that is why I mentioned it. It was pretty obvious that there was one because the end credits are like at least 5 minutes long 😂

I finished the first episode and I like the little changes that they did from the original. There is an epilogue halfway through the end credits by the way.
