As the recording period coincided with a change of season and a drop in temperature, the sudden shift in weather triggered a recurrence of Xiao Hou’s pre-existing condition, causing him to fall ill unexpectedly and rendering him unable to endure the long hours and high intensity of the recording sessions.
We, along with the production team, have always prioritised the artist’s health above all else. At the same time, we deeply value everyone’s high expectations for the series and do not wish for the voice-over schedule to compromise the overall production quality or the release plans. To ensure the production schedule remains on track and to honour the efforts and dedication of every member of the team, following careful and repeated discussions and deliberations between both parties, we have reached a consensus: the remaining post-production voice-over work for "Key to the Phoenix Heart" will be completed by a team of professional voice actors, who will do their utmost to ensure the series is presented in the most complete and high-quality manner possible.
