I just want to say sang yan is the universe’s apology to wen yifan

first off, this drama is absolutely perfect. the acting and chemistry is the main leads is phenomenal. the pacing and plot is well done, I was never once confused or bored.

i’ve never seen a man so absolutely out of the park. sang yan is THE standard. there never will be another yearner like him. the best part of this drama is that it’s not one-sided wen yifan loves sang yan just as much as he loves her.

wei yifan is such a strong independent well written character. I sobbed every episode and my heart broke and healed right along with her. I love her so much. watching her journey of survival and eventually healing really struck a cord w me. it was refreshing to have a heroine who has flaws, who transforms from a guarded survivor into someone confident enough to finally express her true feelings and take that huge step to healing, to sang yan

sang yan oh my god. the best way I can describe him to you is he’s the exact portrayal of unwavering love. every time he did something just simply wonderful I thought to myself okay, it can’t get any better than that and then he proved me completely wrong. his unconditional, steadfast love and quiet protection is what makes him stand out.

I would recommend this drama is everyone I know and i’ll even use it as a conversation starter. absolutely worth your time. do yourself a favor and watch the first frost, experience the heartbreaking emotional journey of wen yifan and the soul healing, beautiful, unconditional love between sang yan and wen yifan.
