HALF WAY THROUGH EPISODE 5 I JUST CLOCKED THIS FUCKING TEA I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT IS HAPPENING HERE.
THE CEO WANTS A “perfect” son. His current son that works at the company was doing a great job untilllll he got sued for leaving hate comments.
Now his father is more than ready to drop him. Even his mother told him before hand “do not date, do not do anything that could ruin your reputation, but he clearly didn’t take her advice.
Now the ceo/chairman is scared. He feels his son will make another big mistake in the future and be exposed for it next time, therefore he wants a backup plan.
His backup plan is his son he had out of wedlock. He is not known or popular, therefore, he has a “clean” slate. His reputation is good, he’s even known as a “buddha” amongst employees. His father wants him to start small at the company and work his way up.
Because, if the other son messes up, he’s have another one right there to fall back on.
I might not be correct but I feel like my hunch is somewhere there. I’m so exited to see if my theory gets proved right.
