im feeling frustrated with them. the mother and both the brothers. but yeah tomorrows episode will give me tension…
Exactly, it ultimately comes down to control…
Absolutely, family isn’t just in name, it’s how we show up for each other and if you can’t even do that… then what’s there to sustain? I’d walk away too bc who is anyone to dictate our future, our partner, our own self? Again, a child will grow into their own person with their own thoughts, feelings and opinions… parents have limited part in guidance but the rest is up to their children 🤍

AGREED 🙌🏽 & the fact that she told Yichen that at least one has to be “normal” was extremely cruel and I’m sure that was her way of punishing him for “infecting” her younger son… that woman is vile. I keep seeing people argue about tradition and sickness, but just because one’s actions have a “reason” behind it doesn’t make it excusable. Again, not everyone is fit to be a parent and it shows when said parent is confronted with a break in their idealistic mold for their offspring.

If someone cannot accept a child being queer, they should not be having children to begin with 🤷🏻♀️ you do not get to pick and choose how someone will live their life, if you want a puppet go buy one and create your own play with it… that mother is only a mother in name but not a real mother to these boys
I hated seeing how he always came second to his sister, with his parents and even with FL… even in his love life he was a second thought/consideration if I was in his position, it would really hurt to know that my feelings didn’t matter in my own relationship…
What pollack soup are you talking about? He cooked seaweed soup with sea urchin. The “kick” was ground perilla…
They were asking for thoughts on the frozen pollack for the next ep, it's in the sneak peek. The pollack soup was in reference to what their kids grew up on.
This drama is a breath of fresh air... and I know that sounds cliche, but I mean it in the most literal way. I have a very specific scenario: have you ever taken a deep breath in the middle of the mountains in the end of fall/start of winter? I'm referring to air so crisp and raw that it almost hurts to inhale and exhale through your lungs... that's what this drama is to me. Honestly, I am unsure if I like it or the characters and that's because it all hits too close to home. This drama has found me in a time where I'm also trying....
Completed it, and he was the best till the end. Way too nice in fact. My new favourite male lead now lol. The…

I usually don't vibe with JBL but I’m loving this one..
I get that, I used to feel that way too but for the past year or so JBLs have been really great! I have a list on my profile if you’d like to check out some more gems :)
Don't know what everyone is harping about, I freaking loved this c-drama... and I don't usually like this actress. If the synopsis interests you, give it a shot (:
