Two people on the ship and one of the courtesan in episode 8 speak korean language because they are from Baekje.…
ironically korea didnt invent the korean language until the Joseon dynasty and back then, they actually spoke old korean, which is a mix of chinese and japanese during the Baekje dynasty
watching this just to support the actress who was cancelled for being "not pretty". first time i've seen an actress had to apologise for not being pretty enough. crazy world we live in
kind of pointless to read spoilers about the novel for this show as the WN is very, very different and the author kinda stopped updating the novel until the drama got very successful so it wasnt finished the last time i checked. as far as i'm aware, the drama does follow the novel only at the start, setting of characters and major plot points but a lot of things has changed, like how it's a harem novel and all of his wives have become successful through him bringing stuff from modern world, like one of them started a record company
why does it say it's Asperger's syndrome in the description? Is it a translation error of MAL? Everything else is the same as the US/JP/KR version and it's a good rendition of the show. If it's a translation error, then the entire review by Le Ho is pointless as the MC is never portrayed to have Asperger's syndrome but a autistic savant, like every other rendition of the drama. not that the review is very helpful anyway, as the author of the review is so angry about the presentation of aspergers that it's baised and clearly mentioned it in the review
there's a romance between the 2 main leads, and they confirmed their relationship at the start of ep1, but the entire candle in the tomb series is not really of the romance genre so there's not much of watching the romance grow
