What happens after 35? I'm at Episode 33 and it's been draggy boring for a couple of episodes already. When I started this drama, I knew that it would be draggy but I didn't expect it to be THIS draggy. Technically this could have ended at 20 something when you know who turns himself in. I'm really bored right now and would love to know if I should finish this.

Try another, better wuxia drama. Maybe one of the more famous ones. This one isn't really a wuxia drama though. It's more fantasy/romance/xianxia. The Novoland franchise if kind of its own genre.

I hated it. It wasn't very interesting. I skipped through most of it cause it was boring. It ends with a super confusing ending.

No. Same franchise but seperate storyline. There's a sequel that came out this year but that sequel was boring.

Can I watch this all by itself? Or is it better to watch the others, and if that's the case what's the viewing…
This one's the first one so it's fine if you just watch it. If you would like, you can follow with the sequel that follows the happy ending so yu might not follow if you watch the depressing one. Then there's a time reversal of the sequel so you can watch that after the second one and then there's other Novolands that you can watch such as Eagle Flag and pretty sure that Pearl Eclipse will come out soon. Princess Agents is another drama that has nothing to do with the Novoland franchise but the writer got a copyright strike from the author of Pearl Eclipse because she copied many things so the concepts are very similar. You can watch Princess Agents to get a feel of Pearl Eclipse. I personally thought that the sequel to Castle in the Sky was boring and had a meaningless ending. Hope this helps.

Ohhhhh. No wonder I couldn't follow. What was the "good" ending? I watched it on iTalkTV where they only broadcasted the depressing one that ended with the mask and butterfly

The main actress need to find another job... She simply can't act... She is so annoying & terrible... How in earth…
Her acting was fine. Just focus on the plot. She's better in some other stuff and she's more famous because of the AMOUNT of work that she's done (especially as a child) because not a lot of children act.

I really don't care about her acting. It's decent. I found that the depressing moments are more important than her acting and the sad parts made me focus on crying instead of her acting skills.

It has a little more to do with the AMOUNT of work she's done. She's been in a lot though. I'm just not sure what's going on with her english names. One of her english names is just the pinyin version of her chinese name (Guan XiaoTong), another one is Gabriella (written here), and another one is apparently TraeyMiley.
